Quoted from cjmjmm2006:No idea what you are talking about. Haha
It was an ad on the newspaper you used. Just me being stupid.
Like how there's an ad for such and such machine, and everyone wants to know about the machine in the background.
Quoted from cjmjmm2006:I have heard from many many patrons of Helicon that chrisb is a tremendous asset. He looks through issues thoroughly and reports them to our route techs. We truly have a collection of games that is as close to a home use environment as you can get. He's available 90% of the time to address concerns with the games. Keys are on site.
I definitely agree with everything said here. ChrisB listens to the patrons and gives me a bullet point list of each and every problem and concern with the games. I've gotten lists with everything from "this light flickers a little" to "the shooter rod is a little off center" to "the slingshot coil isn't rebounding as well as it should". ROM updates are a priority as well so you should expect a game with the latest code.
I love working off checklists, and it's easy to cross off all the issues with a single machine at once when you know what the problems are before work even begins.
ChrisM has the largest collection of games in Pittsburgh (and probably within 500 mile radius), so I'm sure you're going to find the latest releases and older classics at Helicon sooner later, or at Starport, or any of his other locations nearby.
Both Chris's are very approachable so make sure you let them know the great job they're doing and any requests you have!
Quoted from cjmjmm2006:It's an all brewery league. Gonna be fun!
Hmmmmmmmm. When someone TILTs everyone takes a shot?
I really need to come down to play Frontier since I have an empty Frontier cab that I've been slowly building a virtualpin into.
How is the custom THING box I made holding up? I see you still have it on location. Its hard to tell from the pics if its still in nice shape or not.
Quoted from ChrisHibler:I loved this place.
My daughter has moved away from the Pittsburgh area, so sadly, I probably won't make it there anymore. But what a cool place!

I just watched a couple of your videos on Youtube last night and immediately subscribed. How did I go this long and not see your videos???
You explained everything on my technical level (you didn't break it down Barney-style), and I learned something on the very fist video I watched!
You inspired me to expand my Williams test equipment after seeing your setup.
Thank you, and keep the videos coming!
And now back to our regularly scheduled program.....
