Yes, Chris B was the model for the Oktoberfest stein holder (aged 20 years with an added 40 pounds).

Beer was too good to put down, so first game of the night , one handed play, and I already lost a t-shirt as John puts up over 300k one handed

What a nice night! Thank you so much for stopping in! It was great to learn each game in so much detail. I feel like I enjoy them even more now knowing their history and story. Please feel welcome at the brewery any time you are passing through the area!

Cheers,
Chris B.

Just be careful if you go.....it can get very expensive.

Here is my story......I posted previously here that my wife and I visited and had a "date night" several weeks ago. Sampled several brews and played lots of games......several we had not even seen before, get alone played. We had a great time, and fell in love with "The Beatles"....a "theme" I had already dismissed, without playing. My daughter is a fan, but not enough for me to buy a pin. So I thought.......

Well, that's the expensive part......two weeks ago Gameroom Guys (via R & L Carriers) delivered a Beatles Gold, and I even splurged for my first factory topper (low ceilings prevented this for Avengers or BM 66). It is a great total package for us...art, music and game play. Never would have considered it without places like Helicon making this available. Thanks for what you all do for this hobby!
Mike

Hello, are older kids allowed into the pinball area? I believe they are allowed based on some information I see on the website. However; I wanted to be sure before I made the 2 hour trip. I have a 17 year-old son who is my pinball buddy. He recently went to Replay FX with me and we had a great time. He's very quiet, well behaved and simply loves pinball like his father! We would be visiting the establishment in the early afternoon.

All ages are welcome at the brewery. We currently have 41 or 42 games available for coin drop and are considering another Free Play Monday September 9th or 16th. Hope that helps you to make a better decision. The collection of games is extremely well maintained so I am sure you will not be disappointed in that.

Hope to see you soon. Cheers!

Stopped in to Helicon yesterday and gave the games a once over. Lotta maintenance done. Space Shuttle ramp fixed. Iron Maiden LE ramp adjusted, tested and now fully functioning properly. Frontier got some flipper love. STTNG cannon adjusted and trough Opto repaired. Mustang LE flasher housing replaced. Cosmic Carnival trough jam switched fixed. There was a few other things I can't think of, lol. Games should be running very well. Let me know. Thanks!

We are going to try a free play night next Monday 9/16. Same details as always except this time there will be only 40 tickets sold and almost certainly no tickets sold at the door. The tickets for the event are live at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/free-play-pinball-september-16th-2019-tickets-72167574157. I will create a facebook event in a few days after the pinside and discord folks have first dibs on tickets.

Cheers,
chrisb

Also, three new games were added today:

I must have just missed you. I brought the wife and kids in around 12:30PM for my lunch break. We had a blast as usual. The 5 year old asks to go to Helicon by name now and she had the choice of Chuck E Cheese lol.

Chris B make sure she gets a prize for that. I'll drop off a Pokemon plush or something. This little girl sounds like one of my kids. Haha. Thanks for the support Eric!!

Had a great time today at Helicon playing a JP LE. Chris, as usual was super helpful and actually took time to explain the rules to me.....which allowed me to land the GC score!

Had a great beer too.

I love this place. The best there is period. Thanks double Chris!

You're welcome Delt!! The pleasure is all ours. I love the game. I know there may be issues people have with different aspects of quality and whatnot. I love to play it. Kids love the dino toy eating the ball. Seeing everyone having a good time is our goal. Thanks as always for all the support.

Had a good time playing it last night. The T-rex shot is tough and you really have to nail it. Reminds me of the ring shot on LOTR. Why was the POTC out of service?

Flipper issue. Hold power on flippers are dying. I'll have time to fix it Monday. Sorry for that.

League night this evening. Iron Maiden LE back on line. Close Encounters and Full Throttle also added. Enjoy!

We added Star Trek Pro back, another TNA for a fun event idea during Free Play potentially, Gorgar, The Shadow and Ghostbusters Pro just so the Free Play goer's can experience GOD Mode. It's really cool, I think your going to like it.

Tickets are still available at www.eventbrite.com

I may need to ask about it. Do a 4 game link. That would be tight.

Haha not sure if Helicon received the first production unit from the previous post, but Elvira's House of Horrors (Limited Edition) did arrive today. It is all set up and ready to play. Tri Zone and Road Show also arrived today.
