Given the recent developments, I feel it is reasonable to begin a thread regarding refunds from Heighway Pinball in order to collate the data and make it easier for all to access.
I propose posting the date a refund was requested, and subsequently when it was received (if in fact it was). I feel that documentation of the status of other Pinsiders will help alleviate the understandable anxiety regarding recent events.
I personally requested a refund about a year ago:
"Deposit 7/26/15. Refund request 5/13/16. Confirmation email from Heighway regarding cancellation 5/16/16. No refund yet. I'd love for Andrew to pop in and let me know when refund is coming."
After this, I was able to view a video of the game and decided to stay in (my error, in retrospect) with my deposit.
I have, along with the rest of you, patiently waited for my game. I received a request for the next payment on my game over 5 months ago, which I declined to send until the LE artwork was revealed.
At this point, I cannot countenance the ongoing uncertainty and want my money back. I requested a refund again on 6/2/2017. I have received no acknowledgement of my email, though admittedly it was only sent very recently. However, given others' experience with similar requests, I am not optimistic. I will post if and when I do receive a refund. If not, I am open to legal remedies.
Please post when you requested a refund of your fully or partially paid Alien pinball and if/when you received it. Merci.
