Quoted from woz:Here's Tommy Floyd (Nitro Pinball in Canada) on local TV showing "Full Throttle":
They should've done a dry run through before that segment...pressing extra players etc. Great TV spot though

Quoted from Hazoff:Wow is that ever a nice looking pinball machine
Another container full arriving in the US in 6 weeks
Quoted from Jvspin:Alien sure to be compatible? Also, I think I read cost is expected to be about 60%. Is this still true?
Yes and yes(that's not set though)
Quoted from Aurich:If you buy Full Throttle now you have a game to play while you're waiting for Alien. If you already want both why wait until the second is out to buy both?
I know that plan.
Quoted from rai:Sorry but would it be possible to post a nice gameplay video of FTR?
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/full-throttle-in-the-mother-fn-house
Quoted from rai:What I mean is all the videos are somewhat incoherent, meaning just people keeping the ball alive. It'd be nice to see how the modes work (etc.) very hard to judge anything from all these random videos of people flailing away at the ball.
Quoted from rai:I'm not asking owners, the company should be able to.
You should wait and find one on location then. I haven't noticed Stern or any others doing a shot by shot mode video on a brand new release...though I haven't looked too hard since I'm not a huge stern fan. Is that standard for new games? All the extensive vids seems to be done by third party reviewers.
Quoted from RyanStl:This is my first time on this thread and have not read it, but this is the best place to post. With Aurich on Alien I have become very interested in Hieghway. All I have to say is the Hieghway website sucks. I realize pics aren't released for Alien because it is still under review. However, for the first time I starting looking at Full Throttle as maybe something I would like, but when you click on it all you get is an order form. I want pictures of everything; playfield, inside, outside. It is like your website relies on Pinside for pictures. I want to see the game on your website.

Quoted from dgpinball:the frame around the glass is very close to a deal breaker for me
Why?
Quoted from frolic:ball saved more than just "Ball Saved" appearing as text
a massive wipeout...sliding off the track...or?
Quoted from frolic:There's a call out of a guy saying "I've got another bike ready for you"
So why not show that, for example.
Like a pit stop scene
Quoted from solarvalue:Just to offer another opinion.
Seems like most have been overwhelmingly positive...some games just aren't for certain people...like most sterns I can't stand but people seem to love them.
Quoted from PinballRulez:Shotmap from Full Throttle from FB. Do not know if it has been posted before:
Good stuff. Thanks
Quoted from PinballRulez:True. Andrew told they are working on their website and it should be updated. But they also got some other things going at the moment
just send me my Full Throttle
Quoted from HeighwayPinball:You are right. We are aware of this situation and will rectify it in the near future - but it may not be for a few weeks or months yet
keep that assembly line moving! That's job #1. You've got the priorities straight!
Quoted from DrJoe:What is the up-charge for the big monitor in a standard Full Throttle (non-LE)?
$550 for 27 inch, $350 for smaller
Quoted from drinkduffbeers:I expected to receive my FT months before this one
they are shipping soon I have been told...but that is remarkable...now if it was a Hobbit...
Quoted from Shapeshifter:spelling mistake!
Limited.....
? what spelling of limited are we looking for?
Andrew Heighway, CEO of Heighway Pinball, will be speaking at the 2016 Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown, June 10-12.
Quoted from Whysnow:You have a switch somewhere on the pf that is registering when the vibration from the trough puts a ball into the shooter lane.
That would be my guess as well. The left flipper not allowing the engine rev seems like it would be in auto-launch. Have you emailed Heighway support directly?
Quoted from Sticky:That's not standard lighting I take it but wow! Awesome.
Upgrade or on LE. That's prototype board as well.
Quoted from Sticky:Oh so you can get this upgrade without the LE? If so, awesome!
Yes. I added Fiber/Shaker/Large LCD and changed trim to black...should look great w/ALIEN
Quoted from mof:Can someone point me to the best thread to hear updates on Alien?
They'll ship in the next month or so, Alien thread is a bunch of people bitching just to bitch
Quoted from spfxted:….OR SO……so you actually have no idea….Or if you do, who told you that?
I read it in a tweet, which, as we all know, is always fact based.
