I like the full playfield rendering. That chain excel-orator looks like a blast

    #3 11 years ago

    That's uk for ya
I may get full throttle and then I can get many other games from using the same cabinet

    #4 11 years ago

The theme doesn't work for me, but I'm hoping they have big success. I like what they're doing and hoping the next effort has a theme I like.

    #5 11 years ago

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the theme, but I really hope they're successful. I pray we'll see Circe's Animal House someday.

    #6 11 years ago

SpiffyRob,I could agree with you more. Circe's Animal House had endless possibilities. Maybe one day and as a whole pin not just a drop in playfield.

Pigs drinking beer One theme we've all been wanting

    #8 11 years ago

I was SO excited about that pin. It just seemed like such an inspired theme! I was totally having visions of it fitting in nicely with some of the other unlicensed classics of yore.

I'm sure Full Throttle is an easier sell because it is less of a thinker, theme-wise, but man, still keeping my fingers crossed that Circe will make me squeal down the road.

Circe's Animal House? No thank you.

National Lampoon's Animal House? Yes please!

I do like the way Full Throttle is coming together. Best of luck to these guys.

    #10 11 years ago

The music sounds pretty cool as well.

This pin is a cross between HS2 and ACDC! Which is no bad thing.

    #11 11 years ago

Looks much neater then woz to me

    #12 11 years ago

Looks fun! Didn't know Greg Freres was doing the art, but that sure looks like the Whoa Nellie chick on there.
I love Sportbikes and currently ride, so this looks better to me than a movie I'll never watch, The Hobbit, which I have pre-ordered. Hmmmm!

I thought it was John Trudeau

thank you. Modelled in solid works and rendered using photo view 360.

I wish everybody well on this project but aren't those pop bumpers blocking a bunch of shots to the ramps and lanes?

I must be viewing those photos incorrectly as I can't believe that to be an intentional design. Could someone please correct me or help me understand.

Looks like they retract, flush w/ the playfield. Think of the Boom pop bumper in CV.

Very cool. Thanks for the the explanation.
Seems I may need to transfer some funds from my savings account.

    #18 11 years ago

The pop bumpers come up out of the playfield if I remember right...like the Boom Balloon on CV..

Forgot, Dennis Nordman is doing Predator and John Trudeau on this one. Is John Trudeau doing art as well?

Anyone know what they are going to ask for this pin?
Is it expensive to have them shipped to the US?

    #21 11 years ago

You are mistaken about Nordman. He is not on Predator.

The artist is Ian Richardson and he's done some amazing work.

Most probably £3500 and I could go drive to collect
    For USA $5530 no shipping
Pins in the uk are expensive

    #23 11 years ago

Everything in the UK is expensive, which has a knock on effect that just piles up on everything we buy.

    #24 11 years ago

I was disappointed to hear of the theme change initially, but it looks like they might pull it off. Interesting!

    Yes, Nordman on P3, thanks.

As long as shipping isn't crazy expensive, $5530 seems doable.

I really like what I'm seeing.

    #26 11 years ago

Think about it a le stern costs us £6400 which is over $10'000

    #27 11 years ago

Yep, Woz is costing me around $11000 as opposed to the early buyers in the states who are paying $6500

    #29 11 years ago

Ya, spinning wheels on a Sportbike. Looking forward to seeing more of this and finding out what she's going to cost exactly.

Any news on this? I think is very cool, like what Andrew has planned for his games and want to see one in person.

    #32 11 years ago

Andrew will be the "guest star" at a French Pin festival this week end (Saturday I guess)
    Flip-Expo 2013
    http://www.silverball.fr/spip.php?article143

    More information next week then...

    #33 11 years ago

Anyone who's there has news about Heighway Pinball from the show?

I still am, I liked the first one better. I am not a fan of the artwork on the cab and translite, and the PF is meh. I like the design of the PF though.

    #35 11 years ago

crickets; what happened to the announcements

    #36 11 years ago

I was gonna be in on the first theme....still would be interested to see how this turns out...

    #37 11 years ago

Andrew made the show but the game didn't, he's almost ready to show a completed game though. I have seen the game in person but a few weeks ago and it does look good, what I haven't seen is the game fully assembled in the cabinet.

I'm sure Andrew will be on to tell us of progress (he's travelling back from France at the moment more than likely)

Any news on this game? Will there be full motion video in the playfield screen? Is this a new boardset or will they be using a P-ROC? It looks very cool so far...

    #39 11 years ago

I believe they are en route to a Trade Show in Europe at the moment, guess more news will come from that.

    #40 11 years ago

I am also keen to see progress on this pin!

    #41 11 years ago

A picture of the game in Germany (not a very good picture, but still):

LCD in the playfield makes it look quite odd.

Looking forward to seeing this in action, sounds, animation etc.

    #43 11 years ago

Looks like they just have text scoring in the lcd window, but imagine what they could put in it and it will be viewable at all times during gameplay without tilting your head to look up at the backbox. Very cool

    #44 11 years ago

is there anything in the back box at all?

    #45 11 years ago
    Quoted from chocky909:

    .

I have a Night Moves cocktail table. Go look at that if you haven't seen one. One of the greatest things in pinball innovation was in this machine in my opinion, and that is the display front and center in the PF. On this machine, it is important to watch for the bonus shot, which could be many things, and depending on the score and other things, may not be worth cashing out rather than allowing it to trickle down to just a point amount.

I wish machines would incorporate a small display in the PF over anything in the BB.

    #46 11 years ago

The color changing LEDs in AC/DC for me are a game changer. So much information is given to the player this way. An in-playfield lcd would offer some of the same benefits. No one can look up much at the back box.

    #47 11 years ago

Totally agree but it just looks odd when it's not colourful like on that photo. Makes it look like you're playing a whitewood or the pf is being worked on.

    #48 11 years ago

I like those ramps quite a bit! Looks like a blast to play.
