I don’t have that much experience hauling around pins, but it seems to me that it would be hard to find a heavier machine and playfield than that of Indiana Jones The Pinball Adventure. This thing is an absolute unit and was a struggle to move. Anything else out there put it to shame?

    Hercules.

    #3 5 years ago

Any Bingo machine. They are like lead...

    #4 5 years ago

A HEP IJ or TZ. The two heaviest machines I’ve ever carried.

    #5 5 years ago

    Revenge from Mars or WoZ

    #8 5 years ago

Ive always wondered how much that thing weighs....

    #9 5 years ago

Lighter than many. Hobbit is way heavier.

    Quoted from Stones:

    Only 275 pounds.

Hobbit is 75 pounds heavier than Hercules.

Was going to go with Hercules, because that one is ginormous, but this one probably would be the winner of this contest... The Magnificent Marble Machine!

    Quoted from Flippingr8:

Was going to go with Hercules, because that one is ginormous,

It's big. But hollow, not much to it. And plexi for the playfield glass.

Lots of games are heavier. Safecracker, WOZ, etc. etc.

    Hobbit

    #16 5 years ago

I was told from the guys at the JJP Factory that pirates is between 350 and 375 lbs

    #17 5 years ago

If you take size into account…

    SafeCracker

    Hobbit is 350

    About 290

    Pinball 2000 - 360 pounds

I carried hobbit downstairs about 1 month ago and my back STILL hurts

    #21 5 years ago

    star trek next generation

    #22 5 years ago

    STTNG for sure.

    #23 5 years ago

Have it along with Hobbit and would have to say Hobbit which is crazy. Those 3 sets of drop target mechs and 4 beast mechs weigh a ton put together.

    #24 5 years ago
    Quoted from jbovenzi:

Any Bingo machine. They are like lead...

Yes this. The back boxes alone are insanely heavy.

    #25 5 years ago

Hobbit and Woz are good bets, but I swear the heaviest I have moved is Jolly Park.

..... and honorable mentions for all Gottlieb system 3's.

    #26 5 years ago

STTNG by a mile. That thing is a tank. Never again

    #27 5 years ago

    All JJP games
    STTNG
    Hercules
    Safe Cracker
    Revenge from Mars.

    #28 5 years ago

Jjp pins and super pins are the heaviest ive moved...

    #29 5 years ago

    Black Hole.
    Period.

    #30 5 years ago

It is obviously the last one you lifted!!!

    #32 5 years ago

Not the heaviest but honorable mention to Dakar.

Not only is it heavy but the cabinet is so awkward.

    #33 5 years ago
    Quoted from EricHadley:

STTNG by a mile. That thing is a tank.

320 pounds. Heavy. Not the heaviest.

    Quoted from Grangeomatic:

    Black Hole.
    Period.

    Couldn’t agree more with you!!
Black Hole seemed harder and heavier to get in basement then TZ.

    #35 5 years ago

I move all of these myself - JJP games are by far the heaviest. WoZ almost fell over, hobbit was actually lighter than I thought. Pirates - heavy!! I think it might be pirates followed by WOZ RR.

Dialed In - heaviest standard I've felt NO question.

    #36 5 years ago

Just moved a Banzai Run yesterday and it is pretty heavy, seemed heavier than demo man which is a widebody.

Zizzle me timbers I just stumbled upon the who's the biggest pussy of all time thread

'73 Bally Hawaii was the heaviest Bally bingo at 443 lbs.

    #39 5 years ago

    Demolition Man 300 pounds.

    LTG : )

    #40 5 years ago

Hobbit, POTC, sttng, indy and demo man are some heavy pins.

    #41 5 years ago
    Quoted from Gryszzz:

Zizzle me timbers I just stumbled upon the who's the biggest pussy of all time thread

Gryszzz - you're so cool! You tell 'em! And your avatar is so scary too with that skeleton. well done.

    #42 5 years ago

Any EM I've moved have always been a pain, Nip it digs into my fingers. Any JJP machine or pinball 2000 if it still has a CRT screen.
Banzai run definitely feels pretty heavy... it's why I haven't moved it since I got it, that and it's awkward.

Sterns are like feathers compared to those.

    #43 5 years ago

Well after moving Road Show out I know I’ll never move another Williams wide body out of my basement. Even the dolly was sore after that bitch.

    #44 5 years ago

    Jolly park or Vernes World
    450 lbs

    #45 5 years ago
    Quoted from DennisDodel:

'73 Bally Hawaii was the heaviest Bally bingo at 443 lbs.

    I want one!

For fucks sake just capitalize the W or remove the period.

    #47 5 years ago
    Quoted from LTG:

Lighter than many. Hobbit is way heavier.
    LTG : )

    I stand corrected, good sir.

    #48 5 years ago

For a standard body Dialed In is a tank. Can barely nudge it with sliders under the legs. Then I go over to play a Stern or AFMr and they move a foot with the same nudge.

    #49 5 years ago

I reinforced my basement stairs when we brought PoTC in and there was still some serious creaking

    #50 5 years ago

Without cheating, it's probably Black Hole. It's called that for a good reason. :p
