Hey, gdonovan,

For a quick fix to the BG paint fade, why not just try some red bulb sleeves or red LED's in those 3 sockets? That might turn out to be the shade you're looking for, and a nice cheap fix, (although, I believe the game calls for #455 bulbs in those 6 sockets).

Great cabinet job, very nice! Believe it or not, I actually drilled holes under the metal arch at the top of my H&S playfield and added the 4 GI bulbs as in earlier '60's Gottlieb Games. I like the look and knew this would be a keeper. One of these days I'm going to get around to incorporating a Bronco 100K trip/latch relay that I have laying around, into turning on the HSTD light on the glass and using it as a 100K light as on Bronco. I did this with my Dimension, (which I no longer have), and worked pretty good.

I happen to have available an almost perfect original H&S Backglass with just 1 flaw, (score reel housing touched the white area between the reels on the glass), just a bit larger than a pinhole. Otherwise perfect with 3 coats of triple thick. Mail me here if anyone is interested.

Quoted from jrpinball:

You got that glass years ago at the Wayne, NJ show run by Kevin McHugh, correct? I saw it, but didn't grab it. When I went back, it was gone. Memories!!!

Actually no. It was in my game when I found it in '90, then loaned it out to Ron Webb so he could do a re-screen run about 5 years ago. He has since sent it back along with a new glass which I currently have in the game. I don't need 2 of 'em, and now that Ron is close to selling out his H&S glasses, I'm now offering mine to someone who may need it.
