Howdy. I have a pinsound board in my Indiana Jones. I have been using some older headphones in jack for awhile. I am ready to invest in some new quality ones. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanx!

The Utopia by Tournaire looks pretty sweet: https://www.focal.com/en/partners/utopia-tournaire

So this may be an unpopular idea, but I wouldn’t get anything high end. You know the sample rates of the audio on and old pin are incredibly low, you won’t get any benefit. Just get some decent over the ear headphones that are comfy to wear for long periods. Noise cancelling might be nice to tune out the real world.

Interesting. I am not overly familiar with sample rates, but with the pinsound board and re-orchestrated sound mixes, i had assumed (and thought i heard) quite a difference in quality from the original game mix.
I think i like the idea of noise cancelling. With my old headphones i can clearly hear all the outside noise of pin. Not sure if i would miss that or not...

Sony MDR7506, inexpensive and a great set of over the ear phones.

Big fan of Shure products. They have a variety of headphones at different price points.

I recommend open ear headphones. I tried closed ear ones first, and while they sound better, you’ll sweat like a pig playing pinball within 30 mins. I can play for hours with the open ear ones.

If you're going open ear, these are excellent and a great deal on drop:
