Sinbad's Castle in Bridgeview IL is pretty depressing. Imagine an arcade with 9 great pins, but they all have burned out DMDs, and playfield issues on top of that. The worst was Pinbot. The ball would get stuck in the visor, and rather than pull the glass off, the attendant would lift the front of the machine 2 feet off the floor and drop it. It took 2-3 tries to get the ball unstuck, and each drop made the head wobble. It looked maybe a few more drops away from the head snapping off (I guess no fasteners inside?).

Neglect is one thing but outright abusing a machine is really depressing. I hope nobody will sell him any more machines.

I think the bottom line is pins should live where alcohol is served.
    1. Alcohol sales give you lots of money so you can afford a loss on pinball machines.
    2. It makes people less depressed about problems with the pinball machine.

I've pondered offering to fix the machines at a bowling alley near me for free in exchange for free play, but I don't think it would work because they look like they're brought in by an outside op.
