    Hello Pinsiders ,

How many machines are owned by Pinsiders ? 1000, 10000, .?

We have the Map on Pinside, the machines owned by every member but not Totals ?

    @Robin :
Hard to implement a counter summarizing all our Pinball units by class (EM/SS/DOT)?
Or the machine bought by Pinsiders (trend, by month..)

    I think 5000 ?

    Ok : I'll begin : 15 machines.

Everybody add his machines after me !?

    15 +

Cool idea! I will see if I can cook something like this up soon!

    #3 11 years ago

Mine brings the total to 20. If I add Robin's, that brings it to 41.

    Marc,
You gotta let me have a look in that warehouse
No wonder I can't find any pins lately!

    #10 11 years ago

Whoah! Phoebe! You live in a parking garage or something?

    So what's the count now?

Ok seriously? You have that many you lost count? Someone needs to share

LOL!! Nope no parking garage...There are only about 28+/- set up in the house...Dining room/living room (furniture is in storage), and basement. a few are set up at friends or relatives...and some are torn down in some stage of restoration, while others are working, but in storage.

Yea, seriously. I like to buy and sell in my downtime. 100+ machines is nothing. I've been in warehouses with close to 400 and I'm sure there are 1000 pin stashes out there somewhere.

    #15 11 years ago

    Add a +1 pin-wise to that list.

    Thanks smokey

That is a brilliant idea if I ever move again I will look into parking garages not houses

There are for sure. If you came to the MGC on Friday last year and toured Tom's, you would've seen more than 300 there... all set up and currently playable too.

And for the record... I have a vague idea of the total number of machines that I own, but they are spread out throughout like six different locations, so I haven't had a grip on the actual number in a few years now either. I haven't broke three digits though... yet.

    #18 11 years ago

OK , Total at this moment
    246 .

    @Hi Pinsiders , add your machines !

    246+ __ = ___

    #19 11 years ago

Thanks to my deep knowledge of mathematics, 246+4=250. Next!

    #20 11 years ago

    250 + 11 makes it 261

    #21 11 years ago

    + my 18 makes...279

    +7 = 286...

    #23 11 years ago

    286+6=292

    #24 11 years ago

    Haha awesome! Keep going!

Here's a thought: we could even turn this into a contest while you guys keep updating the count, follow it by your guess of how many machines -you think- there are registered in Pinsiders collections (total number). Hint: There are at the time of writing this 10,143 Pinsiders.

    #25 11 years ago

    +12 = 304...

    #26 11 years ago

Hard to crunch accurate numbers when many pinsiders don't list their machines. :/

    #27 11 years ago

    +26=330, my guess is 48,321

    #28 11 years ago

    +38=368.

    #30 11 years ago

    +2 = 379. Guess = 40,001.

    #31 11 years ago

    +2=381

    #33 11 years ago

    +5=394.......my guess around 55,000

    #35 11 years ago

    +15=416 Guess 62,212

    #36 11 years ago

    Wow

Hope we can go to 1000 before midnight ?!

    416 + ??

    (Guess 5000 machines.. )

    #37 11 years ago

    + 14=430

    guess 56,000

    #38 11 years ago

    +7 = 437

You can look, but good luck trying to get that Space Station out of there!

    #41 11 years ago

    +3 = 444

Space Station is still there, you just haven't tried hard enough yet. I have been known to sell projects, while rare it does happen. You just haven't found the right angle yet.

    #43 11 years ago

    Bump ?!

    444 machines only ?!

    #44 11 years ago

You're right, I haven't pushed the issue. I just like giving you crap about it. I keep finding other projects at reasonable prices to work on and then I have no space. The only reason I know you have it is *becuase* you sold a project to someone else and he tipped me off. I dunno. Maybe after I get Time Machine finished and sold, I might try and run you down with a wad of cash and see what we can do. It would be a good time for me to pick it up since I'm finishing up Rollergames and would have another system 11C to test with if the game isn't completely functional.

    #45 11 years ago

    444+4=448

    #46 11 years ago

    448+3=451

    #47 11 years ago

    451+1 = 452

    #48 11 years ago

    452 + 2 = 454

    #49 11 years ago

I guess I never added mine. I guess saying 45 would be about right or a little low...

    454+45=499

    #50 11 years ago

    499 + 2 = 501
