Pinhead without TRON?...doesn't compute.....mine staying bolted to the floor....but if Op is happy, all is good (until it is missed).....

It could be the Op is trying to convince "himself" he doesn't miss TRON.....hard to tell this early....think the reality of it actually being gone will finally settle in......then...ultimately

HATE Gem shot!!!....until I get on a roll and start getting success w it ( I've got an LE,drops, so no targets to bank off....I cradle w the top left flipper, then sort of " bounce" it just off the flipper then hit it).

Seems some nights I'm better at it than others....one of the many reasons the game is crazy fun/ frustrating to play....

Agreed....easily one of the most satisfying shots in pb!!! Always look up at the screen when I hit it ( sometimes leads to losing track of the ball...but worth it)...

If you don't miss it, the new owner thanks you......

TRON is as close to " cult pinball" as I can think....not necessarily love/ hate, but it's the simplistic/ brutal, gorgeous/plain concept that just makes it what it is.....very, very identifiable. People are in threads where they love it, battle endlessly about a possible VE, then others start threads stating they've broken the TRON " spell" ( or have they).
Can't think of another game that generates the respect( or at least acknowledgement) this machine does on such a diverse pinball community. Knew I needed one, and just can't imagine not having it...have no idea what could ever fill the spot....
