The issue is when the ball isn't shot up fast enough... there is a speed where it can turn the corner but not enough to stay on the outside rail...that's when it gets hung up. I fixed it by replacing the shooter with a new one which shoots the ball faster. I could find no other way to properly move or modify the gate, but it drastically reduced the odds of hangup.
