A few weeks ago I replaced the coil for the vuk (from lower playfield to main) to a new A4893 and this shot the ball out with tremendous power. But despite only a few games (I’m still restoring/cleaning the machine) it seems to have lost power and now only kicks the ball a few inches up the tube.

I’ve read that there could be a grounding issue? I’m a novice at this stuff - any ideas?

Thanks. I know there is a something you can do with a pop bumper board but I don’t think it makes the up kicker more powerful, just saves coil from burning out?
