I've been working on a Haunted House. So far it behaves pretty well. I've done the usual ground mods and cleaned off the edge connectors as best as I can. Previous owner put in a new power supply and solenoid driver board. There are two issues I'm trying to chase down and looking for some suggestions...

1) Music/sound inconsistent: Seems like the sound will occasionally cut out randomly. Same with the music. It's the original sound amp and board. When they play, they are all present. I was going to throw a new amp at it, but I'm thinking it may be related to issue #2

2) Customer complained the game would occasionally lose power in the middle of a game...took me a while to diagnose, but seems like mid-game, it thinks the ball is in the basement and it hasn't lost power, it's just cut power to the main flippers. It's like a switch or something is falsely telling the game the ball is in the basement, but I can't pin it down. I've gone through each switch individually and nothing seems to kick it over.

The only thing I'm maybe guessing is CPU? Between the music being sporadic and this, I'm wondering CPU or...?

And just to add, I've checked the voltages at the power supply, everything is spot-on, and I've replaced the interconnect cable from the cpu to the solenoid driver, from the power supply to the CPU, and the power supply to the sound amp.

Quoted from ForceFlow:

The U relay is supposed enable the flippers and lamps on the lower playfield. Have you checked that relay and made sure everything is making proper contact?

The relay seems to be working correctly. If the ball drops down into the basement it registers perfectly.
