You will be glad to hear I just bought a rescued HH!

A friend rescued one of a guy couple of days ago, got a pretty sweet deal I think.
My friend knew I wanted one and that suited him well since he can't really fit any more games at his place.

I was over to see my "house" today, and was exited since the condition was unknown.

And guess what... the PF look great... not awesome but ok.
The backglass art is pretty gone, I'll have to think about what to do with that.
The game is very dirty so I guess it's been in a basement or some storage for years.

I'm very exited to start working on my "house", and maybe I'll post some pictures of the process.

I don't have any pictures of the PF now, I'll get some later.

So that HH project I bought had some broken plastic afterall. The "secret passage" and the small candle beside it.

Anyone with some extras or better ones out there?
The candle isn't that important, but the secret passage one would be great if I could get a nicer one.

One more thing, I may have to change the main backbox board when I found out the battery package have been leaking alittle.
I don't know how much damage there is but I'll most likely just change it.
My question is, what is the downside and/or advantage of keeping all the other boards and just change the main with, lets say a Ni-Wumpf.
And the same for a flippp All-in-one combo board, downside and/or advantage?

The other plasticks are in great shape after I spendt 2 hours, good squeeze Novus 2 and raw girlpower.

Yeah, a friend who is fixing up his rescued Black Hole bought the flippp board and recommended it, I just wanted to hear from someone else here at the HH forum too.
True what you say about the ground issues beeing an easy fix with the flippp board. That would save me alot of trouble since my HH hasn't gotten the backbox ground work done.

I would say, leave it when it looks as good as this.
But I'm more the kind that like the worn used look on old machines and like to keep them alittle like that.
Are you really unlucky big areas of paint can come off with the mylar and just make it worse even if you use the freeze/airduster upside-down tecnique.
My lower PF I tok out a couple of weeks ago, it dosn't have mylar but has the usual heavy wear at the drop areas.
I'm thinking to just fill/touch up this myself since it's the lower PF and its gonna be a great experience in doing some first time PF touch up myself.
