Hi there, just joined pinside and just picked up a Haunted House. On the right side of the cabinet the is a little metal plaque riveted to the side that says Prop No. 33595. Anyone have any ideas what it is from? Anyway lots of work to do on this pin so I'm sure I'll have questions. Thanks

#457 6 years ago

That would be cool if I could find out if it was in a movie! It needs some work, a couple of plastics and I would love to find some printed Mylar that could fix some of the wear spots. It's far from perfect but the backglass is super clean and I got a pretty decent deal on it.

In regards to this game being heavy, I own a Hobbit so Haunted House feels very light in comparison lol.

Can you put leds in HH easily without them acting funny? If you can anyone have any great suggestions for color schemes?

You should get some hi rez scans of that beautiful playfield so we can print some Mylar and fix the rest of our wore out spot.

Got almost everything working on my HH, only thing left is I have no lights down the center of the backbox. Flashers work but nothing behind the house or below the house. Think I just need to replace the F7 fuse? Or should I be looking for something else?

Are these the right bulbs for the higher voltage bulbs in the basement? Does anyone else make them ?

Wait! Those bits of metal that run from post to post are supposed to be there? What it thier purpose. I just took my HH apart to clean and led and I wasn’t going to put those back on. What are they?

Anybody want to tell me what the metal wires over the plastics are for? I’ve seen machines without them. Do I need to put them back on when I put this monster back together?

Anyone have a file with something that is cool to put in the little red windows on the coin door?

Anyone have this plastic they could sell me. I be happy with one that’s not perfect. Mine is busted in 4 pieces

Riddle me this Batman... why does the lower left pop bumper on my main playfield go off randomly? Seems to happen less when I use a static reducing spray like Wizards Mist and Shine but still happens.

#654 5 years ago

Seems to happen the most when the ball is draining but happens other times too. I have adjusted the contacts almost to the point the the pop doesn’t work when it’s actually supposed to but it doesn’t stop the random activation.

Any ideas on what I can check for random resets? Worked just fine, I unplugged it for a week while I was on vacation, came back and plugged it in and now it get random resets. Doesn’t seem to have a particular thing setting it off. Thanks

Quoted from Robotworkshop:

Is the whole game resetting? Do you know if the ground mods were done on the game or if the boards have ever been serviced? May be time to go over the power board, caps, etc. If the ones in the bottom of the cabinet are original then those should probably be replaced.

Ground mods have been done. I’ll have to look at the rest. Seems weird that it worked just fine before I went on vacation and now it’s not.
