It may not necessarily be the coil that's the problem; if the lower playfield gets out of alignment with the main playfield, then the ball won't quite make it back up most of the time. Try checking that before replacing the coil.

Also, A-21741 is the correct coil. It's on page 54 of my manual.

Dusting off an old thread here...

I had a pinball repairman out working on my machines, and he was looking at that basement VUK on my Haunted House, and he wants to replace the stock coil with a stronger coil. Is the A-4893 a stronger coil? Has anyone else tried upgrading that coil?
