Quoted from rai:

Yes, it revolutionized pinball so well that people no longer want to buy Stern games and a cost cutting game from 2010 with poor DMD resolution would never sell in a post WoZ environment.

Yeah cause nobody would even consider buying a cost cutting game like lets say Ironman now days.

AC/DC Premium/LE was the first to ship with color changing LEDs, not WOZ.

lol was woz even the 2nd game to ship with color changing LEDs?

Quoted from PEN:

Someone who says WOZ is boring says a lot of things to a lot of people..... for instance, to me it says the person might not be interested in completing goals, or the person is just to good for the game... Maybe the person figured the whole game out, and beat it after a few plays..... It could happen Or maybe the person has a limited scope of the type of game they like. Some people prefer loop shot, loop shot, jack pot, jackpot. I have been in that camp before, then I wanted something different. All I know is, if every game in my basement played like T2 or TZ, I would grow tired and bitter of the whole hobby. Good thing I figured that out.
Anyway, I am someone who gets tired of games I own very quickly. Take a look at my history..... I think I will go home and play my WOZLE for close to the 800th time without an issue. If only I could beat it, likely not tonight.

Or maybe some people just don't like the layout. WoZ is a great looking game but I just can't get into how it plays. Just feels to clunky to me. Other people like games where it isn't a fast flow fest.

WoZ to me is a great looking game with some really good code but horrible flow with only one or 2 satisfying shots. On the other hand ST is a great shooting game with horrible code.
