Just finished this installation. Thanks to those that posted tips in this thread, it went smoothly. Just one hiccup: I following the advice in a post to reverse the "Search" and upper Castle PF GI lights, and that was wrong. Follow the printed manual, the April 2019 version is correct. Other than having to re-remove the upper PF to fix this, no issues.

General inserts are as-bright as the 7.5V system. GI lights may be a touch dimmer, but not much, and I can't really tell, anyway, as GI lighting on WOZ is pretty hidden already (especially upper PF GI). LTG recommended checking your BAG board to ensure it wasn't dead. I had another JJP table (Hobbit), and was able to plug the WOZ 2.0 BAG board into the Power plug for the Hobbit BAG board to confirm the BAG power LED lit. It did. FYI. This is a means to check your 2.0 BAG board without installation in the event you've bought a kit as insurance without installing it.

I like working on pins and have 30+ years of experience in doing so. Total install time was about 7 hours, not counting re-removal of the Castle PF. It's really quite straightforward, and not nearly as difficult as some implied. The rainbow plastic was a 2-minute job. Just be careful removing both the rivets and the rubber standoffs. I used a small punch to push the rivets back up for removal. Installation of the rubber standoffs was a non-issue: I used a small screwdriver to push it back into the plastic and LED board and then a needle-nose pliers to gently pull it the rest of the way.

(note: old boards sold)

Quoted from toro1966:

Since the 2.0 kit is nto available anymore, are there any other options, or once your lights die, you're screwed?

JJP is keeping a list for customers for an upcoming run. Write them at customer service and ask to be placed on the list. I was told mid-2023 for a production date.
