I got a Williams Big Guns pinball machine about 4 months ago and the main board controlled lights all went out at the same time, I have checked all of the fuses with a multimeter and they appear to be fine. Also the test for the controlled lights will not even run when I try to get error codes in debug mode. I was wondering if anyone could give me some steps that could help me debug? I am pretty much a noob when it comes to pinball machines but I was a mechanic for 10 years so have a decent understanding of electrical systems I'm just looking for a push in the right direction.

Bumping this old thread because I have a Big Guns with the exact same issue. Did you ever find a resolution ?

Check the Bridge Rectifiers on the back box panel. One of them is for the control lights.

I only see One in that location??? & it Tests OK. Also tested the two on the auxiliary board & they test OK. May try and replace the back box one anyhow. Probably doesn't matter but...I believe this is a sample game as it has an X in the serial # but no red boards.

Update in my case it turned out to be a previously poor repaired fuse socket. Fixed
