I found one of my dream cars just the way I would of build it. I'm not getting any younger (64). I hate to sell any games because I would never be able to get them back I'm on a fixed budget. It would leave me with three, but my best one's would be gone. I would like to hear your opinions. Thanks confused.

    Quoted from Xtraball:

June 2014, I sold all but 1 of an approx. 15 pin collection to fund the purchase of this ‘72 Hurst/Olds. Now just days ago I added STTNG as my 9th pin. Granted I’m an early solid state guy (cheaper pins) and this pin is the newest I’ve ever owned, but it shows it is possible to slowly rebuild a collection.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

    Nice car

    Quoted from too-many-pins:

I am 66 (or will be in a couple months) and my thought process is the same as yours. I was heavy into the car hobby years ago but walked away once I had a family. Now I am seriously thinking about selling off some machines (we don't play all that much anyway) to fund the purchase of a nice classic Mopar. My dad was a Chrysler mechanic his entire life and a grew up around Mopars. I had a garage business for a few years after I got out of college and have owned my fair share of muscle cars, hot rods, & race cars. I never missed it after I walked away but now I have "the itch" for another toy. My biggest concern is insurance - I know nothing about classic car insurance. I know that information is available I just have not researched cost or anything yet.

I had Hagerty's ins. on my last Hot Rod, it was good insurance and it was cheap.

It would probably be easier to trade for a Hot Rod, because by the time I sold the games the car would be gone.

I'll bet you have a nice pinball collection.

I missed out on the car it sold But I would love to have a 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria, like the one I got married in.

    Quoted from guitarded:

I sold 3 (2 with Big Block conversions) last year!
Almost never see those and in one week I bought 3 out of a small town in Idaho.
    Crazy world.
I am actually in the opposite boat from you. I am thinking about getting rid of my car and maybe picking up another pin or two.

What kind of car do you have ?

I would like to thank everyone for their opinions and comments. It has been a lot of help. Now I just have to decide what route I'm going to take.

    Quoted from Jamesays:

Its a good time of year to get the car.I love driving my classics alone or in a group WCKustoms My newest project cost a little more than a new royal or LE and cruising is good fun route 66. I hope the goodguys car shows can come back soon.

I only had to sell one (MB) and put cash with it.
