Quoted from BigT:
Didn’t know this existed. Thank you!!
It works pretty awesome. We had the same issue, didn’t want to buy an expensive tv, and weren’t excited about mounting something to the house. The rolling cart works great, I use it in my shed to, and can roll it into the garage if I’m working on something and still want to have the tv on.
Quoted from T-800:
I have had a cheap 55" lcd tv outside under the eave of my pool bar for a couple years now without issue. Bought one of those cheap fabricy type covers off of amazon and it's kept all the water and other elements off of it. In the winter time i move it into my unheated garage and it does just fine there as well, even when the garage gets down well below freezing.
We keep our rolling one in a non temperature controlled environment and it does fine. We just have a roku on it to stream shows and to connect to our hdtv antenna streaming from our Tablo.
Quoted from DeathHimself:"What happens here, will be posted on Facebook" classic love it
Yeah that’s classic.
Quoted from RWH:
General corrosion of electronics caused by heat and humidity
I think a lot of times the capacitors on these TV's have issues with temperature. High humidity can also cause issues depending on where you live. I would only use like a cheap TV in this environment so if it bites the dust you're not out much.
