I am trying to see if anybody has re-decaled a cabinet that has been re-decaled. I am trying to get an idea what I am getting myself into, I completely restored a T2 cabinet the decals have been on for a little over a year. I used decals that were available at the time nextgen I think, now that more accurate nice decals are available I bought new ones. I painted the entire cabinet inside and out and it came out beautiful. What I am worried about is I dont want to mess up the back painted surfaces but I assume I am going to have to sand and reprime the areas the decals were on. One thing that I feel good about is when I peeled off the section for the leg protectors they came off pretty easy so I am hoping the rest will too. Any advice from somebody that has done this.
