Casting another vote for Space Station...
I'm not terribly far and could certainly volunteer my game for the R&D process if no better candidate is available.

Quoted from vid1900:If the printer can do florescent colors, Comet would look great with UV inks.
Holy Shit YES... rework Space Station into the UV club as well: Pop some UV leds in the multiball GI string, and watch it pop once the game goes dark for "Condition Green". MINDMELT. And the game's nice 2001: A Space Odyssey easter egg would be even more appropriate!
Honestly at $600 I'd consider the pf option. But realistically those days are over from CPR - expect a pf to be more $800 and up. An $800 pf is easier to swallow on a $2K+ game but for games below that point, a $250 hardtop is way more attractive.
The labor difference is not that significant. In fact, it's a fair trade: you have to sand the pf for a hardtop, but can probably do so while leaving the pf underside mostly alone. No sanding on a new pf, but the underside swapover can be fairly intimidating.
Not to completely hijack other petitions of need... but I just picked up a decent project Bad Cats, and that's a great candidate title for one of these. Not too many CPR's out there and the game is hard to justify askings on those pfs, but the hardtop would be perfect.
Let me know if you need the donor game, I'm not too terribly far away.
