castle jackpot on bsd with triple scoring lit
the skill shot on Zankor is damn near impossible. You have to get the ball to bounce off the right wall on the plunge, and roll over an arch of 5 button rollovers. I had it happen once out of about 50 games.
The special when lit on Hollywood Heat. Opening is slightly larger then the ball. I also agree with hole in one on ngg. 19/20 shots goes to driving range it seems.
Quoted from pascal-pinball:left loop on Cheetah
Ok then it just isn't my game. Some people say that you can keep shooting that lane over and over to collect bonus when it's lit. On mine you can't just shoot it directly; so I'm not sure why that's such an issue. I'd have to say that's the hardest shot on any of my games as well.
Quoted from RJW:It is way harder to hit than the similar ST shot. It is the final shot to beat Super Hero on SM, so in that instance it's worth quite a bit.
I wouldn't know about that. I've been one or two shots away from starting Super Hero a handful of times, but ... an earthquake happened.... each time. Yeah, that's the ticket. An earthquake.
But seriously, I'm glad to hear it isn't just me. I can make that shot one in 5 times at best.
I don't remember what my original vote was for, but whatever it was, I have to change it to the World Poker Tour, "Cut the Cards" shot. I just can't hit that thing to save my life (and it's a pretty important shot if you want to add time or add a ball).
The odd thing is, 24 has a very similarly distanced and narrow shot via the Safe House, but I never had much of a problem hitting that.
The extra ball shot on Whitewater. It's a sucker shot. The only time to really go for it is during multiball otherwise you hit it then drain.
Quoted from Cdoubleu1:The extra ball shot on Whitewater. It's a sucker shot.
It should be called "Collect Bonus" instead of "Extra Ball."
That's usually the immediate result.
Reading through this the definition of shot probably should be addressed.
Supder duper skillshot on potc is not a single shot. It is two separate shots that are timed. Same goes for any other combo.
Silence the critic on pm is not a shot. You shoot the ramp which is a gimme. It is a toy similar to say the jump rope on cp.
Quoted from chuckwurt:The skill shot on Big Guns is just like Mr Mrs Pacman. Super tough.
Been playing Big Guns tonight and i thought i would bring this thread up again. Big Guns skill shot on the plunge is almost impossible !!!
Quoted from SUPERBEE:Big Guns skill shot on the plunge is almost impossible !!!
JUST BRUTAL!
Quoted from unigroove:Fish Tales' Extra Ball shot
and the EB shot on Centaur
Yeah.. for some reason eb on ft is a bitch
Quoted from Brazy:Yeah.. for some reason eb on ft is a bitch
I used to be able to hit it pretty consistently when cradling from the right flipper.
Just let it roll down a half inch then hit it, and I would get it most of the time.
The mystical million shot on Bally's Dungeons & Dragons. The shot takes a while to master as you have to drop 3 timed drop targets on the upper right. Then shoot up the right ramp to hit the target and then time within seconds the upper right flipper to nail the shot on far left ramp for a million. You only get one shot to nail the ramp for a million.
The game talks as you're trying to shoot it saying" mystical million, mystical million, mystical million" if the target has not been hit in this timeframe it all resets.
I just cannot agree with the no good Gofers hole in one shot. I usually average one to three per game. As other owners know you seem to nail a bunch of them during the hole-in-one challenge which doesn't advance the hole you are on. It just builds up by a million every time you hit it. My record during that mode is 6. Maybe luck has something to do with it but it's mostly just timing.
Maybe I just suck but in over 1000 games I don't believe I've ever intentionally hit the Terror Dog target on Ghostbusters.
Spiderman, hitting the spider sense shot to complete super hero. I have yet to complete super hero but I think that is the last shot to complete it.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:Spiderman, hitting the spider sense shot to complete super hero. I have yet to complete super hero but I think that is the last shot to complete it.
Getting there is hard but the actual shot isn't that difficult because it's fairly close to the flippers.

Shooting with the lower flippers and keeping the flippers up to deflect the ball "down" with the upper flipper. Takes practice.
Great topic! From off the top of my skull:
Piano shot in Twilight Zone.
Left lane (collect bonus) on Cheetah.
Skill shot on Big Guns.
Upper left ramp on Whirlwind.
Open bookcase on The Addams Family.
The jackpot on Checkpoint is a tough one.
Everything on The Getaway: High Speed II. I just suck at that one.

Bookcase in Addams is tough. Also, making the left VUK on The Hobbit is tough for me.
Quoted from Russell:Rob Zombie triple Skill shot.
As far as toughest important shot, gotta go with Gem.
Also one of the best skill shots out there, so very clever who thought of this.
I don't think anybody has mentioned this, but on WOZ, getting the ball through the haunted forest for a left orbit shot on the second Save Toto ball save--with the timer running and quick music playing--is all but impossible for me. It's like shooting through the Congo pops to the volcano, but worse.

Yes, totally agree with this. Also, hitting the 8 ball drop target in Bad Girls is hard as well.
Hmmm....
With games I've had a lot of experience I would say:
EE
Special on Torch (Looks very cool when you do this as an anounced bank shot of the drop targets)
EMs
Extra ball on main PF on Haunted House
Surf Champ, kick out hole. Double bonus on the right side is challenging, too.
DMD
Kiss, right ramp
