Greetings all, I have access to buy a Bally Midway Hardbody machine. The owner claims it will power up and cut out. I’m interested in flipping this game. I’m curious of value and interest? I’m in Mississippi. Thanks!

Hard to estimate w/o pictures.
For a game with issues, as this one sounds, maybe $100-250 TOPS.
Fully Restored, maybe $800

Sold mine for $800 last year to novice not on pinside.

You can do a search on here for old listings in the marketplace to get a rough idea of value.

Dont think it's an easy flip for someone new to the hobby.

Little interest, it's not a desirable game comparatively. Condition is the most important thing. If it's in perfect cosmetic shape, backglass not flaking, cabinet wood great, playfield shows no wear, shooter lane pristine, legs & coin door unblemished and it's working 100% you might get $12-$1500 with a quick flip.

Edit: you should ask a mod to move this to buying & selling advice.

I'm interested in the game if it is priced right.

$800-1K MAX. Very difficult title to sell.

Agreed. Theme kills it for me.

I just got my Hardbody. I personally love the theme. And I'll just say this... Rachel Mclish while sexy and hot, is actually a bit too skinny for me... I prefer my ladies even bigger. But, Hardbody was a dream theme for me, and I'm glad to have it in my growing collection. I might make a custom plastic for the ab station though and change it to a ladies abs... And I'm planing a custom vinyl wrap that will show off more of the Dish Mclish and of course custom score and rule cards. And maybe... maybe I will look into doing a custom playfield. I'd love to replace all the male bb bits and change them out to fbb bits. I just think it fits more of the theme as the male bits to me don't really fit the what hte backglass started.
