Making my Christmas list. Is 500# lift adequate?

    Thanks, & Merry Christmas....

Yes, and more than perfect. The 1k is overkill also save your money.

And Merry Christmas to you too!

Oh and give yourself or who's buying it for you a coupon and look for it on sale. It goes on sale often.

You can find the HF 20% off one item coupon in any HF ad...like in Car and driver. The 500 is perfect....could use a little 25 degree pipe mod to move the handle out of your way

The 1000 is too wide to fit in the front, fyi.

My wife bought the 1000# model for me since it was cheaper than the 500# model due to a sale. And she had the 20% coupon. No problem with my newer sterns, any EM's nor my Bally bingos. Plus great for rearranging and servicing slot machines. No, I do not own a Safecracker.

I just bought the 500# a couple days ago...worked great. I did the hinge mod on it for a temporary 'fix' until I figure out the permanent solution for the handle.

I out my sugfest up in the air on Sunday night and it's still there...seem to work good

The 500# seems to always be on sale at $179->159. As others have mentioned the 20% off coupons..you can print one of their site also
