Quoted from Deez:Who is buying games at these prices? I don't understand it. Everyone I know outside of my pinball life thought I was insane paying the prices 5 years ago. Now I think these prices are beyond absurd. I'd love to know who these noobs are that are buying these things.
They are out there, but in dwindling numbers.
I think this will be a GREAT opportunity for smaller pinball companies, however. American pinball and spooky could really get a rush of new customers.
Quoted from PanzerKraken:While it seems prices on lot of older machines have been going down some ironically. If anything the rising prices is driving me away from wanting anything new and rather pick up some old pins. Ton of great games out there that don't go for high sticker prices just cause they aren't the top faves or something brand new and the hot topic of the moment.
I'm right there with you. I bought 8 pins in 2022. 4 were EMs, 2 were projects, 1 was a very early SS, and the last one is what I would consider a very underrated/underpriced game.
Quoted from arcyallen:$8/day, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year, for forty years. It's chump change.

Wow! These days that could buy like...2 pinballs!
