Here's to a better and Happy New Year to everyone!

My pinball related New Year's resolutions are to spend more time on tending to the needs of each game such as repairs, upgrades and general cleaning, as well as getting better in my pinball playing skills.

Happy New Year! Play more pinball...

    #4 2 years ago

    1. Play more!
    2. Would love to get to 8 pins this year but I doubt finances will allow that.
    3. Win Powerball in order to achieve numbers 1 and 2!

    #5 2 years ago

    1. Sell a pin
    2. Don't buy any pins

    #6 2 years ago

Figure out a way to fit one more game in my game room.

    #7 2 years ago

    1. Stop spending money on pinball.
    2. Hopefully finally get my Playboy machine back and fully restored from OC Pinball Repair.
    3. Drink less whiskey while playing.

    #8 2 years ago

I'll be making a trip out to Carlisle PA in the new year to buy some pins. No idea what games or when yet. I'm still waiting on pics.

    #9 2 years ago

    1. Spend less.
    2. Drink less.
    3. Eat less.

    Happy New Year to all!

    #10 2 years ago

Another New Years Eve we won't see again. So Salute, but be careful..

    #11 2 years ago

Not to buy NIB from Stern.

    #12 2 years ago

Keep buying class of 92-98 B/W pins and tell everyone except Heighway to "Frig off" with their BS price increases.

    #13 2 years ago

I'm going to stop checking the classified section every day.....no, I'm not.

    #14 2 years ago

Less spouse: "no more space for pins"
More spouse: "a few more would look good in the dining room"

    #15 2 years ago

This year I made two resolutions: one was to stop drinking soda and the other was to get to portal on tron.

    #16 2 years ago

Maybe selling or trading a couple of my pins. Waiting to see how Batman 66 matures before I consider buying. Making the necessary repairs on my existing pins to fix the nuisance problems.

    #17 2 years ago

    1. Spend more
    2. Drink more
    3 Eat more
I try and live to the excess

    Quoted from PinSinner:1. Spend less.
    2. Drink less.
    3. Eat less.
    Happy New Year to all!

    Quoted from thedarkknight77:

Not to buy NIB from Stern.

I've resisted buying Stern NIB for the past couple of years, but their recent themes have been very tempting.

    #19 2 years ago

I really don't think I'll be buying any pins in 2017. The only way I see my lineup changing would be if I were to sell a game or two and add something like an MMR.

Instead, I'd like to play more and do some more mods... like adding a color DMD to Scared Stiff.

    #20 2 years ago

To spend less time on Pinside as it actually tends to suck the enjoyment out of the hobby rather than adding to it.

    #21 2 years ago

Play more pins. Attend banning arcade expo again.

    Stay alive. (really)

    #22 2 years ago

Spend less/save more ... for another pin to be determined at the end of the year
Finish installing mods that I already have parts for ... on 4 pins
Buy some more mods that I REALLY want ... $$$
Start to work on my "official" game room remodeling project.

    Have pinball fun!

This is freaking me out as I write it but...I am moving on. Been collecting for about 15 years and played for over 40. I will keep playing but only on location now.

    Peace.

    Why?

    #25 2 years ago

My goal is to get another pin

    WOZ or TRON LE

    #26 2 years ago

Sold a Pat Lawlor's game in my collection and add a Steve Ritchie's game.

    But...... Jack and Coke.......

    #28 2 years ago

Haven't decided to give up beer (yet?) so I'm ok

    #29 2 years ago

    Happy New Year everyone !

    LTG : )

    #30 2 years ago

Get all my major pinball projects done this year , and take on zero more .

Been there and done that. I'd love to keep doing that, but the waistline and bank balance are screaming stop. Lol.

    #32 2 years ago

    Reduce my collection by 10.
    Don't buy any more pins.
Put in all the mods I bought that are still in shoeboxs.
    Don't buy any more pins.
Detail and Titan rubber all remaining keepers.
    Don't buy any more pins.
Put in those pinblades I bought.
Save for a Hobbit by next Christmas.

    #33 2 years ago

Limited resources (with better than good prospects)
I needed to take care of a few other bucket list items before I am too old to enjoy them. Off on a dream vacation with my wife of 28 years next Sunday. This was largely funded by pinball sales.

I hope I will be an owner again.

    Thanks for asking.

    #34 2 years ago

Well for me I think it would have to be to finally get the #1 high score on here for No Good Gofers. I'm not even sure I could settle for a top 3 finish, I want that top spot. It's the one that's been eluding me for far too long. I haven't gotten my gofers totally dialed in yet, pun intended.

    Happy New Year, everyone!

    #35 2 years ago

Tell this guy he sucks more

    #36 2 years ago

I'd like to attend a major tournament not in my immediate area. I'd like to go to Southern Fried Gaming Expo or the new tournament in Nashville.

    #37 2 years ago

I'm in for winning the Powerball so I can purchase Stern and get these prices in check for the sake of pinheads everywhere! Happy New Year everyone!

    #38 2 years ago

Happy New Year all! My New Year's resolution is to no longer buy NIB games.... Ever!!!!!!

    #39 2 years ago

+1 on staying away from NIB games from stern and JJP. Prices are out of control.
Will enjoy what I have for now. I have owned every game I have ever wanted to own at this point.

Happy Holidays to everyone here. Be safe tonight!

    #40 2 years ago

I'd like to get a second Gottlieb to balance my small collection

    #41 2 years ago

Happy New Year! My New Years resolution is simple....... play better

Happy New Years, Guys and Gals!

    2017 Resolutions?

Install every last MOD, Bulb, and add on Piled up.
    Play More, of course.
    Travel Lots more
    Better Health
    More Love.

A Whole year off! I think I can do this!

    #44 2 years ago

    I don't do revolutions.

    #45 2 years ago

Scale down the collection, and make sure the keepers are in perfect shape.
And don't buy any new ones!

    #46 2 years ago

Finally finish my Bride of Pinbot 2.0 (still waiting for the kit!).

    #47 2 years ago

A very Happy New Year, everyone!

As far as pinball related resolutions, to finally get around to some needed repairs.

Non related, but pretty common: cut back or quit unhealthy habits, eat healthier, and hopefully feel more healthy one day.

I wish you all the best.

    #48 2 years ago

Happy New Year to everyone! Play more and try to stay away from buying pins that aren't on the wishlist.
