Happy Father's Day ! Remember when you were a kid and the biggest problem was working the old man for a few bucks so you could go to the arcade ? Well today you can relive that moment. But bring him with this time. And then work him for a few bucks so you both can play games.

If your Father is no longer with us. Try to love and remember him with the memories of the times you did share.

I had a strategy for gettin a few coins. I would offer to work for it. Worked every time. My dad was a hard worker and he had deep sentiment for a son that just wanted to work for his money.

Happy Father's Day to all. My father as well as so many others, is no longer with us. But I do remember the day he purchased a Flying Ace's pinball machine from I think Montgomery Ward. I spent many hours on that machine probably giving me my 1st love of pinball. Which to this day has now brought me deep into this hobby and community.

Happy Father’s Day!!! Also, LTG, I’m relatively new here but I see you are in Hopkins, MN. I used to live in Hopkins a few years back. Wish I was into the hobby at the time. Loved that area and I miss some of the local spots.

Happy Father’s Day! My dad and I didn’t play much pinball, but I definitely remember going with him to a local department store (Korvette’s in Redford Twp for you metro Detroiters) and spending quarters to play this fascinating tennis game called Pong. We naively thought if we flicked the “paddle” as it hit the “ball” we could put spin on it!

My dad taught me how to drive in an abandoned Korvette’s parking lot when I was 12.

    My Father.

Army picture I believe when he made it home after WW2. And 1962 classic operator's attire.

I am certain he would be Very proud of the man and person you turned out to be which proves he was a great father. Side note, my guess is Little #LTG probably spent more time trouble shooting that slide vs sliding down it! Lol.

No. Right behind my Father is an empty spot on the swing set. Had two poles going up and a seat on both sides. You swung back and forth on it.

I could get that thing rocking that I was actually clearing the fence and scaring my Mother. She always thought I'd tip it over.

I didn't realize this picture was taken right after it tried to kill me and shortly before the repair. Maybe only down for a day or two. So it was a miracle this picture recorded it down. My Dad was probably stopping by in the middle of the day with the bolts to fix it. Another rare occurrence because it was usually dark when he came home.

One day going back and forth one of the bolts broke and the pole snapped back and nailed me right in the head. Knocked me off and out cold. Which when things got quiet my Mother came running.

After that I got new bolts at the top once a month.

Pole to the head Quasimodo. Pole, not bolt.

At least I have an excuse.

Down to just my daughter at home. All three sons live in a house about three miles away. All four are turning out well. All four kids are super tight as well. I couldn't ask for more.

My Mom and Dad live next door which is working well as we take care of them now.

Happy father's day to all you Dad's!
