Sad to be missing the 4th for the first time, it's one of my favorite holidays. Canada day is functionally the same, but I have lots of good family memories of us shutting down our end of the cul-de-sac and everyone coming out to have a little block party and throw smoke bombs and eat bbq. If I squint I could probably see the Niagara fireworks.
It's crazy to think that 2018 years ago, Jesus invented guns and discovered America.
(Seriously though, everyone enjoy the holiday. I'll crack open a cold one for our friends overseas. Sorry not sorry about the breakup.)
