I imagine the line started the moment he started this thread.

I didn’t send a PM, but I certainly join the ranks of interested parties.

Why don’t we have a distinction on Pinside for these two games? Lazer Lord 1982, the whitewood that started this thread. And the completely different Lazer Lord 1984 which is mainly a Quicksilver reskin that was slightly reworked and has full art. The distinction is important!

The complete Lazer Lord was tested on location, which is pretty cool. Here is a pic of the IL tag on the cabinet I noticed. Assuming it was put out sometime in July of 84.

Quoted from smileymatthew:

I will post a video of the gameplay soon. The Game code is Finished (more or less) as best I can tell with just a few bugs. So yes, it does play, score, function and start and end the games complete with match routine and full sounds. There is no sound when you credit it up oddly. As as mentioned, there is a bug in the extra ball but otherwise it seems totally functional and no issues that I've noticed.

For Extra Ball, did you test the switches? Maybe they jive with Viper? Switch 22! Switch 22!

I honestly think I played it in Peoria on a trip through to Columbus, OH back in 85.

Quoted from foureyedcharlie:

Lazer Lord and Quicksilver are not identical, I get to see them side by side. They are very similar, but the lower target bank is at a slightly different angle on Lazer Lord...... that's about the only difference though.

Quoted from dothedoo:

I want to see it.

In person.

I think the question has been answered...... It's the same.... No answer is "A" answer.....
