Hope you all have a safe, fun night
On the west coast watching the ball drop is out, actually staying up to midnight and celebrating on our time is in.
Happy New Year whatever your time zone.

Getting up in an hour, watch my wallet for me, and the phone..

Ha! We always say that but something always comes up
Had the neighbors over tonight. In a heavy New England accent, "When ya said ya had some pinbawls in the basement, I thawt ya meant a coupla broken old ones in the cornah!" I always get a kick out of when people who haven't played pinball in 30 years see newer ones. They're completely stunned, it's a lot of fun. Lotsa beer and champagne and appetizers and pinball, a good time. Otherwise my wife and I did our usual NYE routine, which is watch old MTV "Rockin' New Year's Eve" parties on youtube. So much different and better than the sanitized, commercial crap they have on TV for NYE these days.
Happy New Year! May you find the shit on your wishlist for cheap.
Bought in the new year in a great dive bar in Las Vegas. The Hard Hat. Amazing array of characters in that place. $3 beers and well drinks for the win!
As usual, avoided the strip chaos, and watched the fireworks from a lot by the dive bar. Could see almost all the fireworks from there, with a few locals watching on with us too. Shitty photo ... but that’s what you get after the dive bar. Ha!

Spent the day with friends and family. Had a party. Finished the day off after 2am, when my friend from Calgary called.
From the Far East to the far west, we’re all spinning on this rock together. Happy New Years
Happy New Year all, and a new decade to boot!
For me, the 2010s sucked.
Lost my wife, then my dad, then my mom, then my dog. And my cat along the way, not sure of her place in the order. All this death really messed up my kid, too, she was 7 when her mom passed away suddenly.
Had the fun of building a decent collection of pins before prices went nuts, only to have to sell most of them off to cover payrolls at my business. Made out okay, but I'll never be able to rebuild the collection for anywhere near how little it cost the first time.
Not to mention the stress from the political situation...
This new decade is starting out good, though: mid 2020 will see a Rick and Morty land at my door!
Scored me a free(!) big ball bowler in December, yeah it was still 2019, but 2020 will see me get it working! (Can't wait to start cleaning like 27 steppers...)
And I like our new cat a lot better, she's really the best. Ironic that she was a rescue tabby, whereas the Siamese had been expensive and was aloof.
So here's to a much better decade!
