What is a good way to handle and transport a translight to get autographed at a con? My buddy wants to get his Nightmare on Elm Street translight autographed and came to me for advice, but I've never done anything like that.

Thoughts? My concern is rolling up a translight from a game that old might end up cracking

Is Elm street really a glass and not plastic rolled up on a piece of glass?

I'd roll it up, slip it in a plastic sleeve and then put it in a cardboard mailing tube. I've never hear of a translite cracking, but I suppose it could.

I thought it was a translight. I'll have to double check because lugging a glass around will not be fun

One point to be made. I got George Gomez to sign my NBA Fastbreak using a silver sharpie. The ink did not dry quickly, so re-sleeving it smudged it. Let it air dry for awhile and make sure it is dry before re-sleeving it. George was gracious enough to re-sign it and the same happened to a guy who had him sign an LOTR translite. This was at 2018 Pintastic.

Make sure not to roll up a used translite too tightly. Sometimes they get brittle after being baked for years by the bulb heat and can split.
