Try playing a pingolf tournament. Less skilled players can have lower target scores to shoot for and it keeps games from running on for too long. In your case, three holes on each machine would make a nine hole match.

In pingolf, set a target score for yourself on each game. That score would be what You might score in a decent, but not great game. When playing the competition, your score for that hole (game) is equal to the number of balls it takes for you to achieve the target score. For example, if it takes three balls to reach the target score, then your score for that hole is a three. If you fail to reach the target score, then your score for that hole is four. Of course, if you have a real good game going, there’s no need to stop and you can keep going in an attempt to set a high score. In a similar manner, you can set different target scores for other players depending on their skill levels. In my family, my son’s target scores are about 2/3 of mine and my wife’s are about 1/2. The winner is the person who has the lowest total score after nine holes (games). After playing a round, you may find that some target scores are either too high or too low. They can always be adjusted for future rounds after some fun debate.
