Brute force will still be needed. With an Escalara it's balance. The Escalara will help prevent a hernia and back issues. The other will contribute to physical pain. The cost of the electric stair climber will pay for it's self in saved doctor visits and surgery.

I didn't want to spend the money on an Escalera either - but I was sick of asking my wife to help, asking my friends to help, barely escaping a number of "close calls" and risking a major injury to myself or my helpers.

I eventually gave in and bought one and my only regret was not buying one sooner. Now I can move my pins up/down stairs by myself anytime I want.
