In case you didn’t see the post on Facebook, for the 5th year in a row, we setup a Pinball
machine in our driveway for all the ”trick or treaters” to enjoy. We live in a 400 home community and get a TON of kids, so it’s usually a big hit!

Godzilla premium edition was the game that every one got to enjoy this year. We let the kids play 1-2 balls, depending on how many other kids are waiting. The best moments are when the kids are so engrossed in the game the parents get mad with them because they want to go to more houses. And the next best moment is the kids who make a return trip to play some more pinball!!

As we were winding down, we had the best trick or treater ever stroll up, baby Chucky! Check out his photo and you decide!!!

Cool I thought about bringing Monster Bash out from the basement. We had close to 200 trick or treaters. Live in similar neighborhood 411 homes.

Parents drop kids off in our neighborhood or in town . Most areas around us are on acreage.

Weather was good for a change high 50’s no rain.

    Very cool!

Been in my house 5 years…thought about doing that as well. Our first year we had a LOT of trick or treaters but each year we have had less and less…had maybe 20-30 kids this year…I got 3 bags of candy left…guess I am gonna have to eat it LOL!

I always wanted to throw one of my cranes in the driveway to change it up a bit. Unfortunately even living in a moderately populated area, we just don't get many kids. I only gave away 17 candybars today. 15 kids, gave one small kid 2, and the amazon driver made a delivery and made her say trick or treat for a bag of m&ms

I thought about this today! Totally too late, but next year! Great pictures!

Cool pics, looks like a hit!

Might try to do a haunted arcade next year...

With the unseasonably warm weather we had this year I was on the fence about lining up a few games at the edge of the garage so parents and kids could stand in the driveway and play a selection of a few machines as they walked by.

Since it would have been a first, most probably wouldn’t have budgeted time.

Unfortunately since 2017 attendance keeps going down. I was down to low 70s this year. Each year it’s 10 to 15 less.

That's awesome, wish I was there lol. Halloween here was rainy and cold all day, so not much turnout anywhere.

This is great!! Everyone looks like they are having an awesome time!

Definitely do it! Who knows, you might end up getting ONE kid hooked on pinball for life, and that will be well worth it.

Funny you would mention this! Before the evening got rolling a lady walking her dog stopped as we were getting the games warmed up and said that her children were grown now but that stopping by our place to play a few games during trick or treat was one of their favorite things for Halloween. That will likely inspire me to keep doing this. This year we treated the kids to an all Spike 2 lineup of games, I didn't get many good pictures when it was busy but it seemed to be a big hit!

Good stuff!! Keep spreading the passion for the silver ball!

I have a friend who puts out games every year, and he has a great time. This is the first year in our new house, and we got about 50 trick or treaters. I’m going to fix up the garage into my pinball space in the next year, so I may have some games out next Halloween.

Today (the day after Halloween) was rough on my younger kids. No one went to school willingly this morning.

Nice good work! I had stranger things out, and house of the dead on the Dreamcast! This is a great way to remind people pinball is alive!

I would love to put out more pins, but getting them out of the basement is not easy. So they only get 1 machine each year.

We easily had 200+ kids plus adults trick & treating in our neighborhood.
That was even though it was raining all day, fortunately the hard rain had passed thru earlier,
but there was a pretty steady light rain to drizzle from 5pm to 8PM
when we shut down after running out of candy. Most younger kids had gone home already.
Our neighborhood is a slightly ritzy area, (1 block from governor's mansion)
so lots of good candy given out, and many homes all decked out in Halloween decor
plus every year they have a kids and adult costume parade
(thru our neighborhood of about an eight to ten block area) prior to trick/treating.

We get a couple hundred kids kids too, 216 homes in our association. The projector scenes on the window were a big hit, they look great - dancing skeletons, zombies etc. Got a couple cool masks from Spirit Halloween for the wife.....

Looking at these pics of the houses/neighborhoods - damn, we are a lucky bunch of guys.
