Quoted from Ilushka85:

I do not feel it right for a company to provide it to "later" customers before providing it to earlier ones. They have had quite some time to ship this thing out to past customers. I paid ALL of the money for a complete game before others... and yes I accepted the fact that part of my game would be missing til a later date. My expectation is that as soon as that part was available it would go out to me without delay. Instead it has been delayed to me because they are busy building other games... they are always busy building games they are a manufacturing company.
As an early adopter of the game have had to put up with a lot more then the rest of you will have to:
a. Early ramps are bad and have screws sticking out -- new ramp shipped
b. code issues / bugs / etc - typical for most games but the code issues / bugs have not been this bad on other company releases I have had
c. wiring issues / balls stuck in places because wiring in the way , poorly attached , not routed properly
d. Misaligned parts on the game because of initial poor assembly to be corrected in later versions of the game
The list goes on... but again its what I signed up for....

Nobody said they should have stopped putting them on new games as they built them... I said that 100 shooter rods takes 1 person about a day to ship them out... it wasn't do not put them on new machines till you ship them out... its create a priority to have someone ship these out ... could have been the day they came, the next day, 5 days later, its now been several weeks since they got them and started putting them on new games. They could have long shipped them out. If they don't have enough to ship old customers... that is their problem and should not be at the expense of me. I don't doubt they will eventually ship it to me... I would have just expected good service to follow a fifo process.... after all they build games according to fifo and take full payment for fifo... they don't make you pay for game 100 in full and ship game 500 out at that time.

It’s pretty obvious that the majority of the members posting in this owners group don’t care how you “feel” or what your “expectations” are.

Everything you complain about indicates you should never preorder or buy a newly released machine from any MFG. New Sterns have crap code and issues for the first 9-12 months until the bugs are worked out and code progresses. Look at the Alien and Lewbowski threads. Early and current buyers are having all kinds of problems.

Based on your laundry list of complaints it’s obvious that you should have requested a late production number. We all ordered on the same day, within a several hour window. Many here requested late production numbers for various reasons.

Call Stern about an issue you are having. You won’t be talking to Gary. Call Spooky and you can talk to Charlie,Bug, Squirrel or others that actually are part of the design and MFG process.

In the meantime maybe Pinside can line up some grannies who wear thick padded shoulder sweaters for crybabies like you.

A little shooter rod porn.

You bastard! Don’t taunt him!
Posting that pic is like salt in a flesh wound!
Poor fella!

What number is your machine?
If it’s higher than his and they mailed it to you I’m gonna completely MELT down!!!!

Quoted from Lopa:

Game #168 mwahahahahahaha

I’m a huge fan of Halloween and this is a dream machine for me. The pic is my 2019 Halloween costume.
I’m patiently waiting for #539. In the mean time I DEMAND Spooky send me a shooter rod so I have something to look at until my machine arrives. You other lucky people can actually play or in some cases just LOOK at your machines. I “feel” under appreciated as a deposit holder and Spooky Is NOT meeting my “expectations!”

Not really but I am receiving my powder coated shooter rod block and Halloween rug today.[quoted image]

I couldn’t decide which rug I liked better so I ended up getting both.

508 for me. dont mind waiting one bit'' maybe in may

I’m #539. I guess that will hopefully be shipping around may/June.

How is the code progressing?

So far I have only played Ultra man at the Allentown pinball show. The code was pretty basic at that time but it was still fun to play.

Is there an adult/family setting in the menu like R Zombie?

I got my girlfriend these for Christmas.

She has been saying someone should make a Halloween pin for many years. I always laughed it off and told her it would never happen. I figured the only Halloween pin we’d ever play would be the retheme that Colson is working on.

I just got my call asking if I wanted a butter cab upgrade on #539 last night from Nitro.
I’m starting to get excited!

Anyone seen who has given the latest review to drag the rating down lol

Turbo should change his profile pic to this.

Nitro had me confirm no butter cabinet last week and requested balance paid in full today because my machine #539 is “on the line”. Approx how long have owners waited from this point until the machine was delivered to them?

Quoted from silen7ce:

Just got #540 set up yesterday. Looking pretty good initially.. going to have to cut a little hole in the drop ceiling for the topper though! Only snags I had were some bubbling on the side decals under the pumpkin cutout and the paint on the back of the cabinet is chipping off. Just holding it up while my wife put the back legs on it was crumbling on my fingers which is a little disappointing based on the price of the game… never had this happen on any of my others.
Suggestion for spooky… I may be in the minority but probably not the only person that the head needs to be taken off to get into the game room…. The led strips could really use a molex connector in the back box. Everything else does but I had to actually remove the strips to take the head off.
Game shoots fantastic. I actually thought I wasn’t going to enjoy the animations based on what I had seen in streams but playing the game it actually works well. Anytime I get distracted looking at the display, I get punished when the ball pops out from the in lane! Cabinet and playfield art looks amazing. Great light show. Sound is solid! I did notice the tacky feeling on the lock bar. Hopefully don’t run into any issues as I don’t really have a good area to spray clear on it.

I got an email from Nitro Pinball and #539 was picked up by Fed Ex yesterday!

Quoted from mdeslaur:

Please add a feature to completely cancel the current game by holding down the flipper button and the start button. I really like that feature when non-pinball friends come over and they walk away after 2 balls...

You need to Pimp Slap anyone who does that to teach them that it is not acceptable behavior!

#539 was delivered yesterday! Luckily there was no shipping damage. We only got to play a few games last night but love the game. After only playing a few games at the Allentown shows we can’t believe how much better it is in a home environment where the lights can be turned out and you can hear the call outs.
As you can see in the pics Sam from Trick R Treat and Uncle Gilbert are watching the unboxing and setup!

Happy Halloween !
I’m giving out candy while watching the original film.
Going to play some Halloween pinball after I turn out the front lights.
Still can’t believe that Spooky made the machine.
It’s a dream come true!

Quoted from Billygrippo:

Just curious…
How many of you have this game “bolted to the floor”? Was looking into “big Lebowski”, or Halloween. Thoughts…..

I was really excited to play BL a few years ago at the Allentown Pinball Show. I love the movie but personally didn’t care for it. Each time I played it after that i thought less and less of it. Halloween’s layout is totally different than other games. I really like it but I also like AMH and RZ too which don’t get much love here on Pinside. I highly recommend playing both but know that probably is not an option due to where you live.

Quoted from kciaccio:

I love Americas most haunted.

So do we!
I’ll be curious to see what the general opinion is in 8-10 years. I remember loving BSD and it was not or still isn’t considered an A list title.
