Game #200 arrived today. Where is the manual? Don't see one online either., Wanted to get into the adjustments menu..cant find it. Only issue so far..ball stuck in scoop behind upper playfield drop Target ..would kick out..hit drop Target..back in..endless , had to turn off to fix.

Yes, I know all that . Is there a menu I can't find for like Grand champ credits, sound adjustment, mode difficulty, all that..like a Stern.

Well, we put 40 plays on it after it arrived yesterday, my first impressions, my cabinet is not quite square in the back, you could hear the wood cracking when the leg was Installed trying to smoosh it together, random grey powder or shavings or something inside the cabinet, my backglass and speaker panel are not quite straight either, you have to finagle it to get the glass out, head decals have some slight peeling at corners, which will probably get worse. My GNR sitting right next to it, and my sterns have a nice T molding for a nice finished look with the art slightly recessed , I'd recommend spooky change to this in the future. Also..I don't have a # plaque on my speaker panel, looks like they forgot mine. The shooter housing really should be powder coated to match everything else. The knife shooter handle is a seemingly poor quality unfinished wood. I don't think it will hold up well over time. It should at least be sealed, or changed to a composite material later on. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be rules cards included, if so I don't have those either, and the lack of a manual is lame, I don't see a downloadable manual anywhere either. Now let's talk about playing. Game played well, not sure what I'm doing yet on it, but I can read up on that. My ball got stuck in sanatarium scoop behind drop Target.. had to shut game off to fix. Got some balls stuck on hedge, had to take glass off to fix. I don't care for the house mode just seemingly going on forever..I could not hit the spinners well..and it doesn't time our so your just stuck completing...or draining. I don't see this being a good game for a location, it would not be enjoyable with all the other games on, loud people, lights etc. A quiet home environment seems fitting for it.

Wizard mode.. hit all shots..last shot the balcony. Hit shot..opto does not register,. Ball search drops it..hit again..opto not register, ball search kicks out, hit ball into sanatarium hole..nothing happens..ball search does nothing.. finally tilt out . Then nothing..since no balls in trough. Had to shut game off.

Got to wizard mode again.. no power to any flippers or slings now. Game just stuck.

Yep , my cabinet is about the same
. Poor quality art installation, you can tell it was cut on the game..and cabinet not square. I've had mine for a week and contacted them the day I got it, no response yet., And missing my plaque

I don't think your game will fit..so I can take TNA off your hands so you have room.

Lifted my playfield for the first time. Have about 70 plays now, pumpkin seems to not be registering often during or after multiball, ball search eventually gives ball back, what's the purpose of the caster wheels on the back? They don't line up with the rails when playfield is up or anything

I have them sitting right next to each other. Haven't even turned on gnr in the last month. I love the band..the game though..meh. I have the de gnr also..love that one. I have a new game stern, spooky, JJP, I'm getting ready to do a full review and comparison of all 3

JJP definitely does not have the snappiness of sterns at all.. GNR does seem better then Wonka though..
Nah no offense taken..everyone likes different games.. hell..I have 7 gotlieb system 3's in my collection and I love those.. even shaq attack!

That seems odd.. did you buy from distributor or direct. If distributor..maybe they hadn't paid spooky yet for your order and thats the delay. My game #200 arrived 2 days after I paid.

Mine is also bricked now after update. It takes a long time to download, very slow internet here. Almost 2 hours

Why was there no wifi updating on this game? The other two manufacturers do, I have their games.. it works fantastic. From the amount of people that this happened to today, it wasn't just one user messing something up. We paid $9,000+ for a game, surely it wasn't a price issue for the wifi, nobody would have cared even the game was $25-50 more.. or whatever wifi cost. I dont use a computer for anything really, just my phone. I had to get out laptop, spend hours downloading, I have very very slow internet. Still downloading the 4 hour 1.05 original back now. So can we just get wifi added?

Yes, it would still be slow. But I turn on my gnr or other new games , they tell me there is an update, push accept and it does it's thing. I don't have to get out a laptop , find a USB stick, download a file, then put it on the USB, then put it in the game, etc.

After 4 hours to download the 1.05 again, I've followed the steps and this is what I get now, nothing else

It bricked after 1.06,. They sent me the file link to reinstall 1.05. I've done all that , nothing works. It just sticks on that yellow white screen now

I reformatted the USB again, put 1.05 on it again, it loads for a few seconds then says failed.

My game still won't play. I tried to reload 1.05, wouldn't take. Followed instructions still no. I emailed in and called spooky tech support on Monday. Whoever answers the phone at tech was very short and just kept saying I needed to email the software developer, I tried to explain I had already done that , but it sounded like they just wanted to get me off the phone. So zero star review for you on that. I asked tech to call me back so I could speak to them, and they texted me to contact the developer Instead. I emailed back and forth with software all day Tuesday, downloaded new link they sent., Still didn't work. Sent all my file info etc, he said it looks like my windows 7 doesn't format or load their files. He said they would look more into it and mail me a USB to load If they can't work it out. I've asked multiple times why this game just didn't have wifi added and nobody can give a good answer.

I've updated all my non wifi sterns with no problem. I don't have any use to upgrade windows, I only use a computer maybe one time a month

I no longer have any scores on my game, Sterling has taken the top 5, even with a cat always taunting him. He wants to take it to PATZ, (pinball at the zoo) show in April here in Michigan. We are trying to figure out how to take an ez up tent..and black out curtains and make a display, so it's a walk in game to play and experience in the dark and with out so much background nosie.

Had an odd thing happen on ultraman in a tournament last weekend..guy tilted.
Ball went into scoop and it let him cash in spacium (blood drops) even after tilt. I tried this today on Halloween on purpose. If I tilted and fell into scoop...or tilted while in scoop..it still let me cash in blood drops..and start a mode. Then I could play a mode while it still says tilt.. and could also shake the crap out of game and get no warning or tilt and keep playing.

Game #200, had since January. Powder coating has been fine. I have most my games powder coated at local shop, and I had this hammered brass vein like this done before on my tales from the crypt, and it did wear off after time on the lockdown, and it was also cleared.

So, spooky sold a few games at MGC. And a guy had just posted in one of the spooky FB fan pages, that he just bought a butter cab Halloween from spooky at the Allentown show last weekend and took it home. I said something about where are these games coming from if it's been all sold out and they are a limited amount. He said his game was not numbered. Can someone from spooky chime in, is there now 1260 ish games made. I could care less..I'm just curious.
