Quoted from djsolzs:Your game bricks for almost every single shot? 100% you got some leveling or something to do I don’t get that at all.
Taking things out of context, again the point is that the modes in Halloween turn off many of the scoring shots in the game. As you complete playfield modes by achieving their super, that mode and its qualifying shots are also turned off and give zero points. The more you play the game the more switches, targets, and features are turned off essentially and you are given less gameplay.
This happens in it's current state, what folks are proposing is removing even more options as in current code you can in a pumpkin mode at least still go for hedges, judith, house, sanitarium targets to progress or achieve said modes and score some points, at least until you beat those modes which locks them out. So folks mentioning removing half of those options?
And yes if you are in a pumpkin mode, which do not have timers that cause them to end until ball drain, you can get into states where nothing in the game will give you points and you can't achieve progress in other features or earnings until you hit the mode specific shot.
This would be fine if the mode would end cause of your failure with a time limit, or that you still had other options for qualifying or earnings of some feature.
I find this whole discussion amusing when for months folks were arguing how much they hated how specific modes took over the game and locked you out of stuff, so instead now folks are talking about removing more options of gameplay and creating more scenarios where modes take over the game instead of allowing some freedom of gameplay.
Quoted from Sinistarrett:I get the idea that he means the games other shots “brick” as in “shut down” and dont do anything, not that he cant hit the shots.
Yes, that's the point.
