Quoted from damadczar:Can you really be “pin poor” with 10 pins at home?
Unfortunately that's the case. Making payments on Halloween

Is the presumption that along with talking about Scooby Doo in the SPooky Thursday live stream, they will also demo new Halloween code? I hope so. Would be nice to have a visual walk through of what is new/different.

They usually do a code walk through so imagine that will be part of it probably
What is a good setting for the amp the everybody has been using? I was fooling around in the cab the other day and I knocked the dials around…
Now I’m getting speaker pops on startup.

This is obviously not super specific, but go into the music test and start with this...
1) Main Volume - Turn it all the way up and then dial it back a quarter turn.
2) Bass - All the way down and turn it up a quarter turn.
3) Treble - All the way up and turn it down a quarter turn.
4) Crossover (Small Dial) - All the way down and turn it up an eight of a turn.
5) Subwoofer (Small Dial) - All the way down and turn it up a sixteenth of a turn. A very little bit.
These dials are listed from the back of the cabinet working towards the front. The most obvious issue is going to the the subwoofer up to high. From there you can adjust it by ear. You may have to stand up to listen as they sound a bit different if you are ducked down reaching into the machine.

lpeters82 Thank you! Much appreciated.

secret Konami code to unlock the easter egg confirmed - when I did this shao kahn laughed, so it must've unlocked something!
Quoted from pinmatic:Tried the volume adjustments, don't like them.
Best to start at base levels and adjust to what you like. It’s all subjective.
The sub surround sits on the grill/cab so you need to fit a spacer to make it work properly, then you will get some air movement and better bass.
Just setup my Halloween this past weekend. I have static coming from my speakers. Any suggestions before I call Spooky?

Reseat the audio cable that goes from the board in the head to the amp in the bottom of the cab on both ends. Can easily get loose in shipping and there is not much slack in the cable.
Adjust the controls on the amp in the bottom of the cab, esp the Main Volume. Try turning it down.
It did take me some time to dial the sound in.
There is also a digital volume control using the buttons on the coin door.

I’d like to add spacers too to my sub. What did you use and do you have pictures?

Did you adjust the amp? Mine was too loud and staticky until I adjusted the values on the amp, they were all way out of whack.

Two notes to add to Luke's:
-Keep fooling with his suggestions. They worked great on my first amp, but the replacement amp I got sounded different and needed more adjustment
-Take a pic of the knobs on the amp once it's right, print it, and keep it in the coinbox. That way in the future if you want to monkey with it you know what knob does what, and where the settings were when they were "correct".
Quoted from Royflipper:And there he is finally it took a while but he is at his destination in the Netherlands.

YOU SHIPPED A DOG TO THE NETHERLANDS??!?

12mm or 1/2” mdf spacer bought from eBay UK and longer bolts needed to use the existing t-nuts.

Thank you I will try this out!

yes and i call her squirrel.
Ok since tomorrow is almost here, is windows 11 fine for the update or do I need to dig out my windows 10 machine?
Quoted from timtim:Ok since tomorrow is almost here, is windows 11 fine for the update or do I need to dig out my windows 10 machine?
Either will work just great. What is more important is that the USB / flash drive you use is compatible and the game recognises it. This can be hit or miss
Quoted from Wariodolby:Will we get an early code drop at midnight?
I’m gonna bet…no. But that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna check
I am thinking about selling my CE armor with the powder coat issue. My replacement armor looks great and seems to be holding up fine. The side rails I would be selling are perfectly straight and don't look bad (these are the cool ones with the jack-o-lantern face). Of course, you blood sucker or standard edition folks would need to get it powder coated to match. I am thinking $200 plus shipping. PM me if interested.
Paging halloween code - where is the hype on this from Spooky? What can we expect since it's coming literally tomorrow?
Hoping to be on the live broadcast tomorrow and one of my questions is are we still going to see another year of code support on Halloween.

They have answered it like a hundred times that that is the plan.
With us being in the far corner of the world and also *17 HOURS* ahead of CST, I guess we'll be waking up tomorrow to the new code? Super-psyched to see what they've done, loving this game at the mo!
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:No update posted yet. Are they going to wait until 7pm?
Haha. I checked at 4a.m this morning.

Along with all of you, I hope not.

Spooky sent me a return label with mine. Were we not required to ship the original back?

I hope they do, but they also said they were going to add R&M adventures from future seasons and that never happened. Going way back, they also promised "final" updates to games like RZ, which never happened.
Just sayin'...
Quoted from Deez:Spooky sent me a return label with mine. Were we not required to ship the original back?
We were. AJ made it very clear that was the deal.
Quoted from qbass187:We were. AJ made it very clear that was the deal.
That's what I thought. What a dick move trying to sell them.
Hoping they release the new code before the Q&A tonight. That way if we have questions we can bring them up.
Take it easy, perhaps he was not asked to return the old set for whatever reason.
Quoted from Deez:That's what I thought. What a dick move trying to sell them.

Exactly just give them to me for free lol
Quoted from Deez:Spooky sent me a return label with mine. Were we not required to ship the original back?
I think Spooky quickly realized they could reuse the old rails. That policy wasn’t in place when I made my claim. I was told the originals were mine to keep. I was going to completely redo the powder on the game to a more stable product and I still may. Now my problem areas are the coin door and apron.
Quoted from TheClownpuncher:No code drop yet.... hell, they haven't even updated their site with any Scooby Doo stuff.
Strange.
They just posted a video game play of Scooby-Doo 10 minutes ago.

You know the Rick & Morty thing was out of their control. Not sure on RZ. But yeah I hope they live up to the Halloween commitment

I'm speaking of spookypinball.com
No scooby doo on there yet that I see and still 1.080a code under the support tab
Hell, I'm like you waiting for the code, it's 5:43 p.m. at our house, I would like to go home with it and be able to install it.

Yeah, guess they'll be like other companies and wait till the last minute. I guess they have until midnight CST technically.
