Quoted from mpdpvdpin:

Interesting, pretty sure my timer runs from mode start to finish regardless of where the ball is.

I know its been a few days, but just to followup with this... I verified that the timer does NOT count down when you are up at the house working on the spinners. The timer stops when you go up the ramp and are in the house. It only continues once you hit something off of the house playfield, like dropping down into the subway, or getting launched off by the drop target flipping up... Once you hit something not on the house playfield, the timer continues.

So the 60 second countdown is only to get back up there and continue the mode. I watched others play, as well and looked at my timer when I was playing and it freezes every time I am up there.

Just something to note...

Interesting. That does make it a lot fairer on paper.

For me, I think I would be happier with a 30 second timer WITH subway pauses vs a 60 second timer with no pauses. Even if it actually ends up being a shorter timer.

As is, I just stand there staring at the timer ticking down outside of my control going “come on! hurry up!” And I have to resist the urge to just pick whatever mode/reward I mash just to shave another second.

In for the scoop hood as well!

Made this scoop hood from PETG and the majority of direct shots from the flipper now actually go in the scoop [quoted image][quoted image]

Interested in seeing how long it holds up.

I probably missed it, but does anyone know the size of the allen key to secure the topper to the shaft?

Was the cabinet damaged? My box was damaged A lot more than yours, but only a couple of spots with minor damage on the cabinet. I didn’t refuse shipment.Plus the areas that we’re scratched are not visible because it’s on the back. I touched it up with a sharpie and it’s against my wall so wasn’t a problem for me.

I would have inspected and not refused shipment. It was probably fine.

I wasn't home but the driver advised me to refuse it and even told me to tell spooky to use another shipper. I paid 10,000 there is not way I am touching up anything, game should be perfect. No excuse for a palletted machine to have holes punchered in the sides. Poor workers that don't care about quality just want a paycheck.

Since both of them are appearing at our local ComicCon this weekend I had Nick Castle and William Shatner sign #345, Nick on the back glass and Bill on the insert card.

Joined the club today! Was trying to hold off grabbing one of these until my homebrew game was totally done, but too good of a deal came up a half hour away.

I love the signatures on the game! I requested not only Spooky, but also Jack Danger…when he streamed the game. Spooky obliged…so cool.

Well as long as your willing to wait. It was probably fine. You still should have inspected it before refusing it. Most people would have.

And now your going to have to wait for spooky to get it, inspect it like you should have and then ship it out again. There was no reason not to inspect it and to listen to the driver. You could have easily looked inside.

That was a big mistake.

Gotta admit I wasn’t totally sure how he’d be with it but I was assured by his assistant it would be fine and it was. He just smiled at it and signed it. He was far more curious about my shirt, I was wearing one of my crew t-shirts from a shark dive, and if it had significance to being an actual shark diver or not. When I explained that it was and I’d done several dives with white sharks he was quite interested and explained he recently dove with tigers and chatted with me briefly. All in all a very pleasant encounter with him. Nick of course was his usual wonderful self and was very excited about signing the back glass.

Damn what is up with R&L lately? I have no issues with them in the past and just this week between here and FB I'm seeing a lot of damage on Spooky games. Is Kaneda working at R&L?

He wasn't home to inspect. He took the advice on the delivery driver and refused if I was in that scenario I'd have done the exact same thing.

I usually get this guy to inspect everything for me that gets delivered.

And he’s great to have around for when you drop a screw or nut down inside the cabinet.

I wasn’t home and my wife had to be there to accept my walking dead LE I bought used from someone. I opened the garage when I got home to find the machine folded up and wrapped great, except it was upside down on the pallet and not strapped down. I was devastated and my wife didn’t know to refuse the package. She just said I thought it looked funny when it arrived

I wish I had my game two months ago. Met James Jude Courtney and could’ve had him sign something.

We chatted for about 20 minutes and I showed him my homebrew. He loved it. Very cool guy, and very down to earth.

Fascinating! Most celebrities aren’t into the whole hero worship thing and they’d rather talk about other stuff. I think Shatner had to mature into that mindset, LOL - but he really seems to be a genuinely nice person these days. Plus, he’s frickin 90!!

Quick note if you're House battle are taking too long make sure to adjust those spinner switches. Mine weren't registering 1/3 of them. Makes a big diff'rence

#6449 1 year ago

Is there a way to turn down the intensity of the shaker motor? Feels like Michael is breaking through the cabinet every time it goes off lol.

The house playfield is tough for me to dial in. The ball isn’t hanging on the bottom rail after watching the video spooky provided, but it’s hard to get the shot to smoothly go around the pretzel.
