481 his home. Want to thank Nitro pinball (Tommy) for all he did to make this happen for my wife. She loves it and so does my family.

Some damage to the box. Little damage to the back of the back box. Nothing to horrible to reject shipment. Just used a black paint pen to fill in where the damage was.

Thanks My daughter painted the house mod and pumpkin mod. Looks so much better. Pics of them before and after.

Only had to fix a drop target that was out of alignment. Will add more pics and video after I get the mods in.

Picture with the stock backglass is not mine, just for reference to compare to the BSE backglass I put in.

Got some time on #7 today at Jackbar. Challenging game, flippers felt the closest to a 90’ B/W I’ve ever felt on a modern pin. The positives outweigh the negatives. Code and additional assets can make this game a top 20.

Thank you! My daughter did a great job on it and the house. Big improvement to tone down the neon green. She used Acrylic paint. She watered it down when she applied it.

Having a little fun. I think that it fits in quite nicely.

I'll get the info.

It was a friend's that I recast to make it lighter and so that I could paint it differently. This was post-cast and pre-paint.

Love that pumpkin!!! Would love to see that available.

Quoted from dnaman:

Almost done. All painted, LEDs added and wired up. Here is a dry run with it just taped on the lane cover. I will likely re-create the 'trick or treat' sticker in 3D, either on my CNC out of wood or on my resin printer. Still some design work to do there.
I was going to try a flashing LED approach but the ball isn't typically in the lane long enough to see the flashing so here we are with just an on/off approach.
I am not sure how a shared video link works with Google and Pinside but I will try it here. If there is a recommended way to upload this let me know.
Hope you like it!

Is this mylar for the scoops? I assume it is, but what about the long strip pieces? Shooter lane??

They are too big for the scoops by the Michaels. And don’t quiet fit the pumpkin scoop.

Surprised this hasn’t been posted or no instructions or documentation from Spooky?

Quoted from JesseJames23:

I’m guessing for the drop targets?

Possibly, but what confuses me is there are four of them and the long strips only fit the 3 bank drop targets. Don’t think they are long enough for the shooter lane.

#492 has come home! First off I would like to sincerely thank all of the early adopters. Without a doubt, your bug findings and feedback have been invaluable in helping this game get better and better!

We’ve got about 80 games in already and it’s frickin awesome! I had some doubts reading some of the negativity towards the game, but so far it’s all been put to rest. The artwork is phenomenal! Kind of thinking I should’ve went butter but $1K was just too steep. That being said, the decals look great. There’s all sorts of awesome detail in the playfield, Jason’s art really is incredible. The animations are fine. Yeah… some aren’t great, but nothing bad enough to detract from the experience. Awesome to see so many movie clips, although I’ve drained quite a few times just watching the screen!

Sculpts are fantastic, extremely well done. The void of the crossover mech isn’t as bad in person as I thought it would be, but I’m excited to get Andrew’s house mod delivered soon! Vimtoman

Gameplay so far has been a blast! Lots of variety with the modes and it’s going to be a fun ride as the code continues to evolve. Had a couple of bugs pop up; the 1st round of games we got Jack o’ Lantern Multi ALL of the time. Somehow it was discounting the fact that you needed to complete all of the Pumpkin modes before qualifying (I think that’s how it’s supposed to work) so every game we got to rock out to “Don’t Fear the Reaper”. The next time we turned it back on it was fixed. Also just had a never ending Hedge Multi, finally just had to let them drain after 10 minutes. Other than that, we haven’t noticed any bugs. We haven’t had the center ramp or pumpkin scoop rejections that I’ve seen reported, but we do have the jittery Michaels pretty regularly.

Music and sound effects are great! The only complaint I have so far is the weird monkey noises that will pop up at the end of a mode or ball drain sometimes. I’m not sure what the noise is actually supposed to be, but I hear a monkey.

There has been some bad. Topper motion doesn’t work at all. Checked all of the connections and still no dice. Lights work, no movement. I’m not too concerned though, I have full faith that Spooky will help me figure it out next week. I definitely would have hoped for better QC on a few other things; a decent amount of scuffs here and there (some pretty bad on the front of the head), some lifting of the cab decals in a few places on the edges, the art blades are all jacked up at the rear (Can’t see when the playfield is down, so not a big deal), my 1st hedge is quite a bit different from the other two, shoe prints (?) throughout the inside of the cab, a couple of stray zip ties loose in the subways, lots of debris in the bottom of the cab, fingerprints and debris inside the display screen. Each on their own not a big deal, but all together, it looks like the final check before these go out the door needs to be better. The only other NIB I’ve had was Deadpool, and other than the disco ball not being attached and rolling all over the place in shipment, it was in pristine condition, so it was surprising to see so many issues with Halloween.

Bottom line, if you’re still waiting on yours, you will not be disappointed! I’ve never played a more immersive game, it’s a true experience. Don’t let the haters scare you off, this game is fantastic!

From my experience, Spooky will be with you all the way. I agree that this game is fantastic. Also bought Deadpool NIB. Although Deadpool has remained in the top 2 games, Halloween has been a solid #1 for me. Like you, I find the game totally immersive (even with my limited skill).Hope folks start showing the love for this game in the ratings/reviews. Don't let the haters drag you down. AND if you EVER have the opportunity, try to play the game in a quieter environment where you can really appreciate all that it has to offer.

Hey guys.. been reading both HW and UM posts. I have UM #10 CE w/ butter. Just loaded 1.06. Code is great. Have a question though. Has anyone played both games? I'm considering swapping my UM for HW. Like the HW theme better, but UM is more limited. Thoughts?

HW is awesome. I haven’t played Ultraman but go with what you would like more. Theme is important and both games are identical layout wise.

I never saw UM growing up or heard of it, so no personal connection to the theme. In the end you have to be happy and because UM is limited doesn’t mean it will be worth a lot. But I don’t have a crystal ball.

In the end of your not fully happy with it and don’t prefer the theme I would move it on.

Um, that’s really small. I don’t want to be “that person”, but…it’s never perfection. That said, Spooky will make it to your expectation.

I just worry about it getting worse is all. I am not complaining, just wondering if someone else was having issues. Just because someone brings up an issue doesn’t mean they are pissed and bashing Spooky.

I love the game and so does my wife and family. I do NOT expect perfection. Just don’t want the powder coating to start rubbing off because it’s sweet with the gold and black.

Anyone else having issues with the right orbit shot not registering when the knife on the playfield is lit up?

I did a switch test and also rolled the ball quick up the right orbit and the switch registered on switch test.

Not sure if it’s a code issue or not.

Haven’t noticed this with current code. I do know that others have had problems with the ball hitting the switch if the guide was too wide, but this was on early games. Check the switch. Maybe it needs adjustment.

Agreed. There are collectors, hobbyists and players - somewhere in that group there are "investors" looking for financial gain/ROI. As a very mediocre player and a 50 year hobbyist, the ROI is very low on my radar. Doesn't mean rarity isn't a factor but it matters when the game is special (stunningly beautiful, great to play or super theme, etc. RNM, ACNC and HW are falling in this category for me). Go with YOUR gut - what you value and will enjoy. Happy playing to all!

Here's a pic of my powder-coating after about 400 plays. Looks like crap but other than having it redone there's probably nothing that can be done about it.

Just wondering if you could put a ceramic coating over it, the stuff you put on car paintwork to protect it. Much easier than having to clear coat it, although I thought spooky were doing that?

I'd have Spooky send me a new lockdown bar and a set of side rails. No way any game with that number of plays on it should have the powder coating begin to fail. I know Spooky is coating these but I'd probably add my own additional coat of something before I put them on again. Actually if I'm being honest I'd probably just leave them in the packing material until such time the originals wore to the point of not being playable.

Quoted from mdeslaur:

I haven't had time to investigate yet, but is the start button supposed to light up? Is there an ETA on a manual for this game?

Well, that would explain it

Quoted from kciaccio:

Also just had a never ending Hedge Multi..
Had this happen once also.

I had this happen last night. It kept adding balls every time one drained, wasn't sure if it was legit or a bug.
