Are you limiting yourself to only the first movie?

Quoted from Colsond3:

I don’t think any of us did. A lot of people don’t even realize that John Carpenter transposed the music from some basic chords/notes that his father taught him on the piano when he was a kid, and he even composed and played the music for the movie himself.
With only a $300,000 budget, he didn’t have many choices. The movie went on to gross over $50 million after release, even though it had flopped and was heavily criticized in the first few weeks.

Did anyone catch any of the shows he did a few years ago ?
We had the best time!
John was smoking a cig. By the back door in the Alley before the show when we parked. Didn’t want to bother him so just gave him a quick nod and smile as we walked by.

Quoted from Colsond3:

I’m definitely having an actual backglass made. I was thinking of emailing the guy over at BGresto, but I know they do not do mirroring. Shay does, so maybe he would be able to help me out or point me in a direction. Open to any other suggestions or recommendations on this front.

Would you consider having more than one Backglass made? I’d love to be able to hang one on my game room wall. Don’t know if would help reduce production cost.

Heading to South Pasadena in a couple of weeks. Going to find all the shooting location of the original movie. Something I've wanted to do for many, many years.

That is a dream trip of mine.
Please post a few key photos so the rest of us can live vicariously thru you!

Should have time to get back to this thing again after the holiday. Picked up this hilarious shirt last night while Xmas shopping to get me back in the zone...

Cool shirt!
I got the same one as a gift for Christmas. I also got these back in the fall. Lots of cool merch came out with the movie release.

Quoted from Colsond3:

Absolutely. Playfield is going a little slow, but the cabinet art should be done and stenciled on next week. Another artist reached out to me to assist, so maybe he’ll be able to step in and speed up the playfield art.

It’s great to see that you are making progress Colson. Hopefully you will bring it to the Allentown Show so some of us can play it once the project is completed!

Quoted from Colsond3:

Yeah, that’s not going to happen. Was raining when I was supposed to stencil the cab last week.
I didn’t want to rush this thing and have it look or play like crap, which would be discouraging as my first retheme.
It will be done by PinFest in May, so you’ll be able to flip on it there. And if it’s done before then, and either of you fellas are in my area, feel free to swing by and give it a whirl.

That’s really cool of you to make that offer Colson!
Any progress on the music?
I really enjoyed the early post of you playing the theme song.

Happy Halloween Everyone!
My favorite movie and the best Holiday of the year!

This was my costume this year.
Went to my neighbors house and didn’t ring the door bell but peeked in the window next to the front door.
They had guests over and I freaked out a couple of them. They always decorate , thought it was hysterical and love the movie. I took the trick or treat bag in hopes of avoiding the possibility of a possible 911 call. “There’s some crazy man dressed up like Michael Myers looking in our windows!!!!”
They took the photos of me a couple minutes later.
Good times!

Quoted from Colsond3:

That is freaking awesome! I may do that next year. One guy came around dressed like Michael and freaked the hell out of my daughter.

I’d never have done it if there were children there Just for that reason Colson but it was fun to give a couple of the adults a good Halloween scare !

Quoted from pinballslave:

Pesonally, I much prefer the cab artwork on your game than the Spooky game... Spooky's is WAY too colourful and busy for my liking, yours is genuine 1 off art and has turned out incredible IMO... perfect in fact!

I agree 100%! I love Halloween and all the related films. I would never have dreamed a production game would ever be made. I have one ordered but Colson your cabinet art blows Spooky’s away. I’m really excited to see and play the machine when you are finished. Hopefully you will bring it to the Allentown show next year.

Colson to say I’m impressed is an understatement. I’m hoping that eventually I will be lucky enough to get to play this machine at a future Allentown or York Show.

I just spent two hours picking up branches blown down by the 50mph winds last night.
Now I’m warming up and watching The Inside Story:Halloween that I recorded back in the Fall.
