New panel cut and rear area cleaned up. This particle board/MDF is a pain in the ass...what a horrible decision from the factory.

Some of the top layer of ply had some cracks and was bubbling pretty bad in the front, so decided to cut those chunks away.
For those kind of flat sections I customarily use this. Works great, and two applications with copious amounts and sanding usually fills in the gaps nicely and makes it solid again.
I’ve found if you don’t cut away bubbling sections, it will crack again at some point and through the new paint. You live and you learn.

First round of sanding done. Actually came out pretty good. Straight back corners. Front probably only needs one more lighter coat and 100, then some 220 on the whole cab.
Still want to mix up some fiberglass patch for the top rear corners.

I hear you there. Weather is finally ripe for painting. Should be doing that by the end of the week and getting this thing moving. Tried to paint the cab twice in the last few weeks, and the weather was just too hot/humid.

So watching this movie last night on AMC, when Bob and Lynda show up to Lindsey's house in the van, and they are talking about "ripping clothes off"
Bob says "ok let me get this right, first I'll rip your clothes off, then you rip my clothes off, then we rip Lindsey's clothes off"...
Did I hear that right? Shouldn't that line be rip ANNIE's clothes off? I checked IMDP and a few other sites for known goofs, that is not one of them.

Absolutely. Playfield is going a little slow, but the cabinet art should be done and stenciled on next week. Another artist reached out to me to assist, so maybe he’ll be able to step in and speed up the playfield art.

I didn’t want to rush this thing and have it look or play like crap, which would be discouraging as my first retheme.
It will be done by PinFest in May, so you’ll be able to flip on it there. And if it’s done before then, and either of you fellas are in my area, feel free to swing by and give it a whirl.

Nah man just having some fun definitely take the necessary time to make this a thriller. “Dying” to see and play the final product. Good job man!
