Hey everyone,
What’s a fair price for this? I think I used it only 2 or 3 times on a few components. Worked great but I just don’t think I need it.

Not the answer to your question - but why not just keep it if it works fine (unless you're trying to upgrade)? I have the FR300, but after having it, I don't know how I ever lived without it. Sure usage will come and go in spurts, but I think it's a "better to have it and not need it" situation for sure, especially as lordloss said it's a few models old now. I'd just keep it if I were you!
PM me when you figure out a price & if you still want to sell it. I'm interested depending on where you're at with price.
I screwed bent the heating element tube on my Hakko 808 right off the bat, because I was used to how tips on my Aoyue solder station are removed (tips and tube are all one piece). Can't really stomach paying the price for a new heating element when the entire desoldering gun only goes for so much and it's a PITA to swap tips with a tube that will never be round like it was.
$100 seems to be the price point for this. Last year I saw them over $200 so with such a drop I think I am going to just keep it.
To answer Grantopia, I was going to sell it because I've had it 3 years and really only used it once to desolder one transistor and may have practiced on a couple more. Originally bought it because I planned a major job on JD but a friend ended up doing it for me with his tools. Since then my only games are AFMr and Met with no plans to add more. I was thinking it unlikely I'll do any board work with those games. (Knock on wood).

Got ya, fair enough! $100 is probably about right. The new 300s are $250 So 100 seems fair.
