Quoted from jfrank:Mermaid on order. Paid a much higher deposit through GAP, so I’m pulling hard for Haggis.
Oldskool, how do you like your GI? Grew up on the show, and I’ve thought about getting one.
To me, it’s “ the best game ever” simple and fun.
This will be the only keeper pinball I own .
Some cool shots like revolving island and the music and call outs are fun
SKIPPER!
I did similar and bought a standard translite so IF? I ever sell it can have standard code and not Dolby all over the product.
I cant see it going anywhere in a hurry as it is a tribute to my late Father.
Quoted from DakotaMike:ME on order since about 2 hours after sales went live. I'm also Celts curious, as I loved my Beatles Gold, buy so far have not played one yet.
Beatles is a better game to me as code is a bit more polished ( expected) , but CELTS is right up there in many other ways.
Like build quality, originality, ability to personalise, hammer proof playfield, epic sound, its Australian and so much more.
Quoted from punkin:Still keen to purchase another direct spot with haggis on a Mermaid if any one is dropping out.
I think most will keep now
I usually love a good shit stir and make it as FUN as possible without too much nastiness . The Aussie way.
But some crew on there really hit my buttons and they are dead serious with their negativity.
Here I go sooking again as I can’t do a damn thing about it.
TPF is this weekend and curious wether something might magically appear?
If not I still like watching all the videos of the event
Todd Tuckey for a Twipy
Quoted from punkin:Damian said they weren't going.
“They” weren’t ,but don’t be surprised if something pops up
I had to drain the other thread as it is just garbage now. Never had to do this before
Any way, good news is coming and great days ahead.
Stoked with Celts and really stoked to have a Mermaid come stay.
Quoted from Mr68:I get it but you're a valued voice in my opinion and I wish you were there. You might want to peek in to read yesterdays banter beginning at post #4147. Fake news was posted by, you-know-who, and then debunked by your brothers on the ground.

Kind words and thank you Mr68
but nah I'm done with school yard rumours and horse shit.
Life is way too short and precious to get wound up on the inter web especially when you can not address any issues face to face with the clowns.
Keep the faith, believe me all is well at Haggis, just as boutique manufacturing is, attention to detail can and will holt process.
Sometimes businesses just cant be bothered with social media and ol M8 above is the reason why, negativity and bullshit speculation.
Quoted from gold1:How is the machine holding up at the festival Skooly?
I will hear tomorrow as im unable to make it!
but I've heard no news just a nice pic so far.
Yes, it had 433 games over the festival and some festival helpers have been playing it at their house since.
It was also a tournament machine which I like as I set mine to play fast and kick arse .
Quoted from gold1:So no freezing?
Apparently no, but I found a machine gunning sling before hand and adjusted. It might have been the cause? Informed FAST
Quoted from gold1:Curious how did you adjust? What steps in other words?
simple things like increase angle of play field, adjust coil strengths and making sure ball rolls as smooth as poss8ble between obstacles ie from in-lane plastics to flipper etc. simple stuff
