If Greg Freres is doing the artwork it would be tempting to consider... I like the game play and sound on Fathom, but the artwork is what makes it my favourite pin. Looking forward to seeing more today on it.

Quoted from twenty84:I'm curious about how they will implement this. Fathom has 2 sets of individually controllable in-line drop targets (3 each), no mech like this has been made in a long time (the ones in Metallica aren't individually controllable). There is also a set of 6 side by side drops.
The set of 6 drops remote control the in-line drops too... it would be pretty amazing if they have re-made the the in-line drop mechs and would sell them separately. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of stalled Fathom rebuilds missing those mech's as they are unobtainium.
Quoted from Doctor6:See, I don't know about that. Nobody cares about Bride of Pinbot 2.0. I think the standard will do better than you think.
I do when it comes to BOP, I'd rather have a 2.0 than a standard... in fact... I'd rather have none, then the standard... which is what I currently have But when it comes to Fathom, I'd be fine with the standard... that sounds odd as I type it, but that's how I feel
Quoted from edward472:What's stopping someone from copying the roms off the Mermaid edition and popping them into the standard edition. I wonder if there will be any sort of rom protection.
That's what I've been wondering myself! I'm going to guess the Mermaid version will use the second screen and that is absent altogether from the regular version.
Quoted from Classic_Stern:The Ahh Yes DUDE must be gone on 2.0!!!
I love that call out... lol... I love the sound on the original.
Quoted from Classic_Stern:How do we order ? Pre order link
Right now only way is through the fan club. So another $80 on top of the price of the game.
Quoted from cooked71:It is a hardtop you realize? It’s a plastic/ply Playfield. Definitely plays different than an original one.
They've got a video on their YouTube channel saying they will offer 3 types of playfields on their games, not sure if that apply's to Fathom or no... one standard wood with clear coat, one with their version of the "hard top" and one with the "hard top" and clear applied on top. The standard version is the "hard top" (I'm going to stop putting that in quotes now ). The wood one was a $500 AUD up charge but I didn't remember the combo up charge.
Quoted from c818919taylor:Are the (Haggis) classic series titles Centaur, Medusa, Flash Gordon & Paragon?
Unless I missed an announcement, no one knows the next ones to come off the line? Did I miss an announcement?
