I ordered a set of protectors when I ordered the game. i hollow ground out the corresponding protector to fit over the hex of the posts and put the green plastic protector and regular plastic on top of it. washers didn't work. so far so good. Hopefully damian will make a solid green one.
Quoted from paulbaptiste:It will continue to get stuck there as well. The hollow green plastic protectors aren't firm enough due to the design and create a gap between the glass. They bend just enough to allow a ball trap. It's documented on this thread as well as some user's fixes.
Quoted from punkin:Nice line up mate. What continent are you on?
Punkin,
I am not sure if you were referring to me or paulbaptiste but we're both in Illinois USA North America. We don't know one another.
War of the worlds or centaur is likely next. Marty has mentioned centaur on podcasts before. I don't care for the art and have only played a badly maintained centaur. I'd like to see EBD personally.
Either way i'm confident they will produce something beautiful and fun.
So mermaid owners get....
under cabinet lighting, a number, and reflective decals?
Hard to figure out based on the video.
Nope, he's just back to troll.
Quoted from punkin:This is an owners thread.
Do you have a dog in this race?
diver is getting ready to dive and taking a breath
Quoted from BobT:aaaahhhh, mmmmmmmm....
good question
I used 2 needle nose pliers. if you over expand it it will capture and retain the ball. photo is prior to bending
Quoted from EasternBloc:For those who bent the playfield hangers back to seat the playfield closer to the shooter rod, may I inquire as to the method? These are the beefiest hangers I’ve ever seen. Red spring ordered in any case.
It's a know issue. the green plastic protector is too flimsy. There have been several posts about it and a few fixes. I used a plastic protector I had purchase from a set which fixed the problem.
Quoted from rai:Here’s a stuck ball. Bounce airball off the center drop targets.

25 weeks to get my mermaid from final payment. People have the right to complain with the lack of transparency, although at this late stage they shouldn't be surprised given the history of delays and lack of communication. I have no interest in centaur but there i little chance I will order directly from haggis in the future. If they run another machine I want I'll use a US distributor or buy on the secondary market.

Quoted from Gotfrogs:I just paid for air shipping. Hopefully I get the game before my Halloween tournament on the 21st!! My excitement is back!!!
Quoted from Gotfrogs:I have the same problem. In the past 10 games I have played, I have had a ball get stuck here twice. It is really annoying because when you remove the glass the ball moves and drains before you can grab it.
What if any fix is available?

Quoted from John_I:Someone needs to make a set of plastic protectors in clear that are not skeletonized. Those fluorescent protectors are ugly as hell and cause ball traps. Clear protectors would fix both problems. In a perfect world they would be for sale before I get my machine so I don't have to make them myself.
