Quoted from EasternBloc:What has been the typical wait time from payment to game shipping? I’m just over 100 days since payment and really excited to see this fish.
I was at 160 days as well when my damaged game arrived. I will be at 200 days when it's replacement is set to be here next week.
Honestly took alot of the wind out of my sails on this one.
I sent in a few reports on bugs.
I've had multiplayer games freeze after the end game sequence. It will stay stuck for a matter of time then come back alive and start a game by itself.
Also had a great game going with Mermaid Multiball. After draining if put another (unearned) ball onto the playfield. The bonus was frozen and wasn't scoring correctly. Drained the ball and the game was stuck in that mode until a hard reset.
I just updated to v.85 so not sure if that brought them on. Game was on v.84 when it shipped.
Quoted from apessino:BTW I have to give huge thanks to gprotein for all his help. He coordinated with Haggis to have both of our games air-shipped to LA together (his was built first), handled everything, then even picked mine up at DHL and delivered it to my house.
Nicest pinball friend ever...
A great friend indeed!!
Quoted from surfnrg:Anyone else have issues with the flippers not working? I changed out the leaf switches for gold plated ones... hope that fixes the issue. Maybe the California air is causing the tungston ones to not conduct?
Also what's with all the air balls? Feel like it's gonna break glass. Anyone else get ball jams between the left side plastics and the glass?
How about game crashes? Since the latest update it seems to be a little more funky. Using it for league play and had to do a few restarts to get a good 4 player game working.
Ok... as for the rules..did the original Fathom have lane changes and auto ball launch?
I’ve had quite a few air balls and had the ball stuck on top the left plastics right up against the apron.
Several issues during mermaid multiball that the game seemed to remain stuck in the mode after the final bonus count. Described a few posts above.
Original had lane change but no auto plunge.
Can another owner post some good pictures of their backglass? I have several small parts that look like chips in the artwork, light shines completely through, no paint on the backside on these areas, but thought at first this was intentional. Not sure now. Can others confirm if these exist on their backglass?
Thanks

Quoted from Boof-Ed:Mine has a couple of those crescent shapes but they are mirrored and not transparent. Also included a picture of the back held up to the light as yours is. Mine is nowhere near as easy to see the front image as yours. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Yes, the two areas in the middle of mine look like gouges, completely see through. Your doesn't look the same. What's your third picture where it looks completely white?
I'm trying to make sure if I actually have an issue (and I've had a few) before I reach back out to Damien. It looks like my backglass ink chipped off in those areas and created a hole instead of a mirrored crescent.

Has a white mask over it all. 3rd picture is with no light from the front side and forth is when lit from the front. Maybe yours is missing that and could be the reason you have the “gouges”
Mine is definitely missing that! Thanks. Another thing to get with Damien about. This has been far from a trouble free experience so far.
Quoted from oldskool1969:What else have you been having issues with?
My first game came damaged and I refused delivery. Second game came 6 weeks later and I've had a few issues. Trough board was damaged and could not play a game until a new board was shipped(now fixed). Flaking of inside coin door (replacement being sent). Some odd gameplay issues that seem to be connected to a new led board (replacement being sent). Now this backglass issue.
Nothing that can't be fixed, but unfortunate after the first game coming damaged that these other issues exist as they aren't related to shipping. All will be fixed I'm sure.
Outside of that. I absolutely love the game, the new code, the build (minus my issues) is phenomenal. Most beautiful pin I've ever seen...and it smells really good.
No one needs to worry from my experience. Damien has been great so far and I'm confident everything will turn out find in the end.
Help…
The top blue scoop is really struggling to eject. Its bad enough that it really effects gameplay. May take 10 attempts to eject the ball. If I up the coil strength to increase the eject force it just ricochets off the post and comes right back into the scoop. It will repeat this process 5 -10 times as well.
Any help with this issue?
Quoted from oldskool1969:Or
Incorrect angle set up, what is recommended? 4.5 or 6.5?
No it’s set correct and level. Not sure what’s recommended but I’m at 6.5. Which worked perfectly until now. This just began happening over the last day or two. Operated perfectly (the scoop eject that is) for 50 plus games now showing this problem. Has gotten worse, eject growing weaker, as time went on. I’ll examine the kicker arm and mech tomorrow.
Quoted from BobT:Has anyone come up with a good looking topper for Fathom?
Do you think Haggis may offer one in the future?
There are holes on the top of the cabinet. This leads me to believe that they have something planned. I certainly hope so, I wish they would just do a full fleshed version of the original instead of flat plastic. I love the original topper. If they could do that in 3d that'd be incredible.
Any idea how often the undercab lighting should be active? When I start a game it's on, then shuts off during game play. Not sure how often that should be running.
I've also had some issues with the flippers not working after you walk away form the game for a minute. Once the ball drains they come back alive. It's as if they fell asleep. Similar issue with end of game. The game will stay in end of game mode for a prolonged period of time, then reset itself and come back to life. If you hit the start button a few times to wake the game up it will bless you with that many players added to the game.
Quoted from Boof-Ed:Only on when playing revisited.
The entire game? If you play consecutive games back to back is it on the entire time? Mine is not.
Quoted from BobT:I'm extremely curious.
Who here is a SERIES TICKET HOLDER? (Caps for emphasis.)
I AM! (Caps for pride)
Quoted from rai:I got a message that my game was nearly ready to ship. I paid 8-25-2022 so that's around 6 months paid to almost ready to ship. I can't believe how expensive air freight will be but to wait for a full container might be 6 months (I have no idea who the hell knows?).
Mine was $1700 to the Midwest for air freight.
Quoted from d0n:Agreed. It's just not the $20k-$30k game we were all hoping it would be. NIB games are sitting unsold at $13,999. I truly believe that most of the reason for the low value & zero fomo is because of the way haggis has handled the production updates... or lack thereof.
At this rate, series ticket holders are gonna be ten years older (at minimum) than they are today when haggis makes that final 1980's bally remake.
I agree with the other poster that nobody is ever getting the advertised free shipping.
Read closer Don…It was never free shipping. Unless you shipped it to and picked up from Nevada. No deception there.
Quoted from d0n:The fathom mermaid is so irrelevant and obscure that even the recent pinball awards forgot to add the game to the pinball awards voting list.
Why are you here? Just to trash the game? The company? The owners? Get a new hobby if this one makes you so unhappy that you have to bring everyone else down. Leave the rest of us be.
Quoted from cooked71:Happy you cleaned up the thread but you cleaned everything but the problem?
Anyway.
I really need to get to play the revisited code. I’ve got my Mermaid still sitting in a box partly because I don’t have room, but also because I need to decide whether to restore my og Fathom which is in pieces atm. I picked up a beautifully restored Flash Gordon that plays like new, and I kind of like the idea of having an og Fathom sitting next to it.
But I also like the idea of revisited.
Anyone else swapped an OG for a revisited?
Maybe i should watch a stream.
I sold a very nice original and don’t regret it. You still have the original gameplay available, which i still enjoy by the way. I wish they would’ve incorporated those voices or phrasing in the new code as well. Only thing I prefer in the original is the backglass and how it illuminated. The new one is so much darker. I’d like to be able to adjust the backglass lighting color and intensity someday. I’m sure Damien could make that possible.
Quoted from d0n:It wasn't but a few months ago when the pitchfork mob absolutely lambasted me for listing a mermaid preorder for $2500. You're FIRM at $3000. I'm waiting for the mob to come along any minute now.
You’re guilty of a lot more than a price hike. Why do you still hang out in this forum? Just waiting for some conversation to start so you can jump in and insult someone? Get a new hobby.
I just switched my spring out with green and it's perfect. You can get a 5 pack of springs from Marcos or pinball life that all have different strengths to find what suits you.
Anyone adjust the POPS. I checked my leaf switches beneath and all look good. The bottom most POP isn't very active outside a hard direct hit. I see a setting to adjust in the system, but don't know which is 1 2 or 3.
What are your take on the new code? Any strategies you recommend?
I haven’t put much time on my game as it has issues that interfere with gameplay. But I did have a decent game this morning and fought and won two of the mermaid battles, was awarded a treasure and the game really seemed to open up at that point. Is there a roadmap or illustration of the code progression?
To me this game is hard, harder than the other games I own and at least today I was inspired to want to go deeper into the game.
Quoted from c818919taylor:Jealous the stickers arent coming off your apon on Alien. Guess ill hit mine with a heat gun.
Any guess on production? Half way?
I was in the low 50’s for production. Granted I don’t know if that includes the 20 or so series ticket holders as well. I got my game at the very beginning of January. I’d be surprised if they are a third of the way through the build but who knows.
Is anyone playing the damn game though? I am. At least for today.
I watched the videos again from Marty as he described some of the modes and ways to beat them. This game is hard as shit! Just trying to beat the lagoon multiball is incredibly difficult. I'm glad I watched it again though as it gives me some objectives to accomplish outside of keeping the ball alive and starting another multiball. He described 3 wizard modes? I can't imagine getting into any of them. But there are the types of games I like. I want something to keep reaching for. It'd be nice to have a code map, so we can see how to progress, but I don't know of one existing.
Quoted from rai:So puzzling seeing so many Fathoms for sale. I mean more mermaids for sale than Tron or some other pins that were made in 10x the number.
It just doesn’t seem as if people are on fire about this pin and those that are sold seem close to the actual price including shipping.
There are always flippers in this hobby of ours. I'm sure there was a number of people buying simply because of the scarcity of the game thinking they could turn a healthy profit. I can't imagine any spectators just hopping on a Fathom buy without having a love for the 80's classic Bally games. If you don't have an affection for that time period then this is just an art piece. And what a piece of art it is. Fathom was my grail game when I started collecting and I still find the original or classic mode to be incredibly challenging and rewarding. For people who only play modern Sterns, I don't know where this game would fit in their lineup. It's a different thing all together.
Quoted from rai:I’m not sure why but the ball often hitting the glass when I hit the center drop targets.
Is that normal or fixable?
It happened on my original too. When they reset themselves it will pop it up against the glass. Nothing to worry about.
Quoted from punkin:That's what it says for the classics now, but was that the original price?
Mermaid was 11,500 AUD originally.
Quoted from rai:Does anyone have an overview of the revised code rules?
I just asked Damien for the same thing. The best I've seen were the early videos posted with Marty and 2.0 gameplay. He doesn't get very far into the game though so nothing is really uncovered. I did find out what happens when you beat Lagoon multiballl though. I'm not sure how you beat mermaid multiball. What are the 3 wizard modes he speaks about? What is the secret wizard mode?
I'd really like to know because this game is hard as shit. That is why I loved the original, just the difficulty it presented in getting 3 ball multiball...That was an accomplishment! Still is! Knowing how to beat Lagoon multiball has me trying to accomplish something every single game. I'd like to deepen the well there by understanding what other tasks I can get done in the game.
Help us Damien!!
Quoted from punkin:Precision bats. Best flipper on the market without doubt.
Mine will be getting solids as i don't think the Halo's fit the era, but Halo's play even better if that's what's important to you.
Have no doubts, those things are the business. I'm slowly putting them on most of my long term keepers.
I'm sure I've asked you this before, but they don't make Bally style flippers right? I've looked before as I'd probably change some of my old bally's if I could, but all I see are modern style flipper bats. AM I missing something?
Quoted from punkin:Are you worried about the shape or the size?
Maybe ask John in his own thread, he designed and engineered them.
They aren’t the same shape. game won’t play the same with modern flippers.
Quoted from punkin:It's the flat edge that matters most. It's flat on both....
Also won't play the same with modern mechs, modern playfield surface, modern rules and modern rubbers.
But if i wanted it to play the same i would have kept my Bally.
You do you of course, but these games were designed with those fatter style flipper bats in mind. The ball guides are designed for these thicker bats. They shoot differently. I had a Centaur with thinner Williams flipper bats on it and it was a very different experience entirely.
Quoted from Engel67:I’m not sure if I should be worried. I received a message from a Pinside member saying he has Mermaid #233 in his game room. I was assigned #233 after sending my down payment back in July of 2021.
I sent an email to info and sales HaggisPinball.com and haven’t gotten a response. It’s been a week.
Keep sending emails. They aren't the quickest at responding, but have always responded (to me). Sometimes it's 3-5 emails later and a week has passed (this is common).
Quoted from tatman9999:Is the newest code v85? I can just download and drag to usb stick?
Yes. Mine took ages to finally update, but then came back to life. Just so you are aware. Like several minutes of waiting/updating.
Quoted from tatman9999:Is this how flipper bats should be aligned?
[quoted image]
No. Those need aligned.
0BE3BAD7-D0FD-443E-A1B6-AF181DCED145 (resized).jpegQuoted from IdahoRealtor:I just played Fathom at TPF and am quite glad Haggis made the long trek. I had actually forgotten this was one of the NIB options and it was very refreshing to play. I am a fan of the era. I inderstand the Mermaid editions have been sold out for a long timr, so I am considering ordering a Classic version before they cease production. For the owners out there, how is this pin reliability-wise? Are these breaking much like Spooky pins, and Alien? Quality assembly and components? How's the post-sale support from Haggis, if needed? Are you guys overall happy with your purchases? I'm just trying to catch up on things beause I really haven't been following this title. Thanks!
I'm several months into unresolved issues, but do believe I am an outlier. My game came in damaged and I refused shipment, replacement game arrived 6 weeks later with problems. Backglass, broken trough board, damaged coin door, game freezes. Of all three of theses issues, 2 of them still remain. I got a replacement coin door and a replacement board the other day. The board did not resolve the problem. I'm still waiting on a backglass and a new mpu to see if that will resolve the game freezes.
Damien has been great throughout. Slow on responses, but always eventually responds. I'm hoping to put an end to my issues when he returns from TPF. I just need parts....
Quoted from gold1:think you need to change shippers!
My current issues aren’t due to shipping.
DHL is what Haggis chooses to use. Both of my shipments were through DHL. I have nothing positive to say about them, but what’s happening now isn’t the shippers fault.
Quoted from Rjbdmdmd:ball getting stuck here.
[quoted image]
It will continue to get stuck there as well. The hollow green plastic protectors aren't firm enough due to the design and create a gap between the glass. They bend just enough to allow a ball trap. It's documented on this thread as well as some user's fixes.
Quoted from feedthebiscuit:According to Damon my fathom is almost ready to be boxed and shipped, which is very exciting.
Did anyone talk to Damon at TPF about what’s next?
According to this knapp arcade post, the next one will be announced in a few months.
https://www.knapparcade.org/post/haggis-pinball-update-fathom-production-status-new-game-announcement
I read that too. I'm all for team Haggis and them making more machines. I want a Centaur 2.0, Viking 2.0, I want another original game or licensed theme by Haggis. I'm less inclined to pay in full and wait 6 months this time around. I hope they can make some vast improvements on their output before asking for new buyers. I don't think that will happen, but I wish it would.
I’m hoping for Medusa, Viking or EBD next. I’d be good with an original as well. Centaur is the most likely next game, which I have and love, but would prefer something that would be a different play style to Fathom or a more transformative game with new code. Medusa sound be great with a bit more variety and meaning to the shots. Current game is pretty boring but it’s sure does look good.
Quoted from Engel67:I’m I the only one who would like to see a Haggis Revisited Space Invaders?
[quoted image]
Probably. I’d pick every other wide body from that era ahead of space invaders. I’d be all in on Paragon or Future Spa. Either world be gorgeous. Embryon is a pretty incredible game as is, I just don’t think the looks are there for a Haggis remake.
Quoted from dscapo:Low demand for Elektra though. Can find them on market place here for under $3k
And it’s a complicated game. Not the simplest thing to work on or build. Wouldn’t be worth the trouble for its lower popularity . I had one for a good while and don’t miss it.
Quoted from dscapo:I have one and still enjoy it. I think it’s a slightly under appreciated game with a decent rule set for the time. The artwork really holds up well under the plastic.
It has a very interesting rule set and is a good looking machine. Just want a lifetime keeper for me. With these a Haggis remakes it really needs to be or isn’t worth the money (in my opinion). It’s like paying HEP to restore a $2500 game. Fathom restored can fetch 8k or higher. It makes sense. Majority of these other games do not make sense.
Quoted from Sorokyl:Hey guys. I love Fathom. there's an original at a place I play at frequently. But I'm tempted to get one of my own.
Mermaid edition sold out. Probably a lot of demand will drive resale prices up I guess.
I think I'd be happy with Classic edition. Would love the option to play the new code, but oh well.
Does anyone know how long they will be available to order? I want to wait a bit if possible but don't want to miss it.
Any advantage to getting from a local US dealer vs ordering from Haggis direct (shipping, price)? If dealer, which ones?
They plan to be completely finished with Fathom by years end. No real advantage in ordering direct. I don't know when any classic's will hit the market as those will be the final ones produced. My guess is if your not in line on a classic you'll be hard pressed to find one on the secondary market. With 250 Mermaids there will be a few that pop up (as we've seen already).
Any owners gotten very deep into the game?
I reached out to Damien about rulesets or a better explanation of modes and multiballs but there isn't anything written up/sharable.
It'd be nice to know what is waiting for me later in the game. I am not the best player by any means, but this game is hard as hell to accomplish anything on.
What are people getting for high scores?
Anyone experiencing game freezes? Between balls, after game bonus tally, if game left on for a period of time with ball in shooter lane?
I’ve yet to hear anyone mention it and I’ve had those problems (and others) from the beginning. Damien said he was able to reproduce some of the same issues at the factory and its code related. Find it odd no one has mentioned it.
Anytime out there with issues?
New video by Damien…
https://fb.watch/kdHVaMgUOa/?mibextid=uc01c0
They are allowing classic buyers access to 2.0 code with an upgrade…. Bag of Bullshit if you ask me. Not fair to the mermaid owners at all.
Quoted from jokerpoker:Why am I not surprised. He’s doing a JJP. Promise you can’t get 2.0 except with Mermaid then go do the opposite.
I felt shitty for being mad about it but what’s the point of the mermaid edition and waiting a year and a half for a limited game that’s no longer limited at all? The main reason for going Mermaid was the code, 100% the code, the extra was just cosmetic.
I encourage you all to post in the comments of the Facebook video and express your frustration. It’s simply not right. A bait and switch and cruel way to reward all the patient buyers who have paid in fullb and waited 6-8 months or are still waiting for a “limited” game. Let Damien know how you feel.
Quoted from punkin:Because they love pinball as much as we do and want to share it with more people?
Once again, nobody has lost anything, nothing has been taken from you. It's just that others get to share great pinball. It's a good thing, no question, if you care about other people.
I wish it was that simple but it’s not. If they want to change their business model on the next four games then so be it. But the scarcity and uniqueness of the Mermaid features are what promoted sales. 2.0 code is the largest reason to get a Mermaid, not all the cosmetic stuff. I had a beautiful original Fathom and the only reason I sold was for the 2.0 code. Only reason I purchased a Mermaid was for the 2.0 code. They were explicit in stating that the Mermaid edition was the only way to obtain the new code. So plenty of us jumped on board and have silently helped to fund the company based upon the uniqueness of these Mermaid games. To offer up the one attribute that sets it apart to brand new buyers is wrong. At least to do so after the fact. It’s wrong.
Quoted from Wilmmr:You people who are angry, I assume you WANT Haggis to survive, right? Obviously, this move was made with the management hat on, what was BEST FOR THE COMPANY. Do you want your Fathom to be an orphan? Those of us in the US, you want to try to find parts from the other side of the world. You've invested in a beautiful, unique, fun pin, don't you want them to succeed? Have you thought about the repercussions if they go under? Because that beautiful machine in your basement, if you play it, WILL BREAK EVENTUALLY, 100% of the time. You really want to go there? I've had a Classic on order since late last year when I missed the Mermaid run. I got the 2.0 upgrade ordered this morning. I hope the company survives. If you like this thing and obviously some of you who paid in full two years ago do, I get you feel screwed because you told yourself I will have this unique thing. But Haggis ain't Stern, you want, you need this company to survive.
You make it sound like screwing over mermaid owners is their only viable option to stay afloat. It’s not. I’d think keeping the goodwill of 250 original owners would be more profitable in the long run than driving them away.
If they needed an influx of cash then just announce Centaur and be done with it. That would garner a lot more attention and positive attention at that, than this insult to the people that have quietly backed this endeavor for the past two years.
I’m all for Haggis and love what they’re doing and want them to be successful. I just believe there is a way to go at that without damaging your reputation and pissing off your existing user base.
Quoted from punkin:You make is sound like they have screwed Mermaid owners over when you say they have screwed Mermaid owners over.
They have not.
We have got, or are getting, exactly what we paid for, they can't be screwing anyone over because they have taken nothing away except part of your superior exclusive feeling. they didn't offer you a feeling, they offered yo a machine which they are delivering on.
They are offering something extra to others, not taking anything way from you.
And people are so mean hearted that they don't want others to enjoy what they have. You people make the world a worse place than it has to be with your mean spirited selfishness.
GO HAGGIS!
We obviously aren’t going to agree here as you keep arguing the same point. This isn’t about being selfish. This is about integrity. Keeping your word. This is about advertising something in a way that helped promote sales, and then once that money has all been collected changing the terms of the agreement. It’s wrong.
Quoted from punkin:If you don't like arguing the same point why are you repeating your childish selfish statements?
It's wrong in your view because you are standing on an entitled rock to make your point.
And if it's so wrong and you feel so woke, then take up the offer above and you'll be instantly made all better.
[quoted image]
And if it's so wrong and you feel so woke, then take up the offer above and you'll be instantly made all better.
[quoted image]
And there is the insults. Well done punkin. Well done.
Quoted from gprotein:Changing to a stronger spring for the plunger, it solved that issue
I did this as well.
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Most beauty of a game but my plunger hardly works and left flipper goes crazy sometimes working other times not , I assume maybe just the flipper button leave?
[quoted image]
Check the gap on your leaf switch. Sounds like it needs adjusted.
Quoted from Pinball-Wiz:I would think there would be more time/chance for something to happen in shipping by going the sea container route? All that time to get to the USA then it still has to be shipped across country to my door. My thought that if it got damaged on the boat, it would continue on it's way for the duration and by the time I got it, the shipping damage claim and dealing with a machine that came from another country would be a nightmare.
There's something to be said about a machine already here that's been produced and arrived in good shape in my book.
My air freighted game came with a forklift puncture and absolutely horrible service from DHL on both shipments (original and replacement). Damien was great on both occasions but DHL express failed at each opportunity. Hope others have better luck than I did.
Quoted from rai:Just noticed 2 bugs with my machine, the ‘tilt’ light is always on not sure if I had noticed that before but is that supposed to be on all the time?
The other issue not sure if my pin is acting abnormal or not, when I set up a multiplayer game on the classic the version the added player score lights don’t light up. I thought there would be ‘0’ on the second player score and so on. I didn’t hear any sound when I pushed the start botton so I continued to press the start button and end up adding 4 players and the 2nd player score doesn’t illuminate until the first player is done and the 3rd player score doesn’t illuminate until after the 2nd player is done.
You’re not alone on the classic mode issue. My game is the same.
Quoted from Zukram:I have emailed Damian on a couple recent software issues..
I have not noticed the tilt light issue mentioned.
As for starting a multiplayer game, I *thought* that was fixed or updated in the latest code push. But that was known where the only indication that you started more than one player was on the lower right LCD panel.
But my latest software issue is the game has started to lockup. I think it started with the latest code push, was perhaps once a night, then in the past week started to happen often. Sometimes on power up wont get all the way, very often after playing one ball would hang, and occasionally would lockup in between games while sitting idle for a while..
I’ve had similar game freezes from the beginning. I’ve informed Damien throughout my ordeals with this game. He has recreated my issues and is working to fix the code. Friend just got his game yesterday and within an hour was asking me about freezes and software bugs.
https://share.icloud.com/photos/02dDGZi9duaSrWkC6W4RxVByg
I started recording immediately after a game ended. You can fast forward four minutes and see the game come back to life. This is a consistent problem.
Quoted from Zukram:That is a different issue than what we were having.
In my case the system would completely freeze, playfield lights off score displays on similar, but lcd screens freeze mid animation, and would never come back.. Had it sit for 30-60 plus minutes a couple times.
But after reseating that USB cable, did not have a lockup last night.

What you should do in this case, is after that happens and as soon as it comes back to life, is stick a usb stick into the game, into the dongle inside the coin door. It will copy all the game logs there. Might be something in there that can point to the cause.
I’ve sent them tons of logs. Damien says he had enough and didn’t need more.
I’ve had a few different lock ups similar to what you described as well as the game freezes like the video I sent. The freezes I can recreate daily. Start a game with a ball in the shooter lane then walk away for a half hour. Come back and plunge and the flippers will die within a few seconds and everything will freeze indefinitely. Sometimes five minutes, sometimes hours.
I’m guessing there are 100 or more of these in the wild by now but very little conversation regarding the code or the game itself.
Has anyone seen the other hidden multiballs that Marty alludes to? Spelled Fathom in a single ball? Beat Lagoon Multiball? Beaten multiple mermaids and obtained the gear at the end?
Is everyone experiencing some type of game freezes if left on for prolonged periods of time or delays booting between games/balls?
Quoted from SKWilson:On a brighter note...
Just paid for shipping today. Looks like I'll be getting my game soon. Woot! Woot!
Woot Woot! Maybe even keep it long enough to play it! She is a beaut I tell you. Hope it lands safely! It's been a long wait I'm sure.
New owners have anything to report?
Game freezes? Delays between balls? Flippers dying if you leave the game sitting for 15 to 20 minutes in game etc? Delays at end of game? Any other bugs? I’ve asked a few times and haven’t heard any responses. Ive had a plethora of problems which I’m told is code but don’t hear anyone else talking about their issues.
Quoted from punkin:Why come here to vent?
None here can do anything about it, so why?
What is your purpose if it's not to have the problem rectified (assuming the problem affects you at all).
Just paid my invoice a few weeks ago, i know that it may not be 8 weeks.......
And they certainly do answer emails and phone calls, probs not the 'where's my machine' one by the seems of it.
Why do you come here to defend? Not too long ago you were trying to unload anything you owned or preordered that had the Haggis name attached to it. I don't think you have anymore say in this thread than anyone else. You are just more blinded by some strange brand of tribal loyalty than most.
The truth is, NO, they don't communicate well if at all. The truth is, if they know (like you admit we all do by now) that it won't be available to paying buyers in 8 weeks after paying in full, THEN QUIT LYING TO PEOPLE!! This isn't optimism. This is simply being dishonest. Who are you bullshitting. I own a Fathom Mermaid. I've owned it for 10 months. My game hasn't worked for 10 months. I'm still waiting to be made right by Haggis and I have no option but to wait. Save that sanctimonious shit for someone else. It's beyond old by now. People, especially people who have paid for product in some cases YEARS ago, are entitled to be a little angry and worried about their purchase. You don't get to stand above us all and cast judgment.
Quoted from SKWilson:Haggis had intended to offer a topper for Fathom, but, at this point, I don't know if that's still the case. I don't even think they ever publicly mentioned it. (Crap. Did I say something I wasn't supposed to? )
We thought it would be announced once all games were built, but have heard anything since. I hope so. But based on the simplicity of the Centaur topper I wouldn’t expect anything too ornate.
Quoted from badbilly27:Has anyone found a solution to when you play 4 player game, after it just locks up? Appreciated.
I’ve had 14 months worth of lock ups and frozen games so curious as to when yours is occurring. Haggis is aware of delays at the end of multiplayer games, typically at the end of game during bonus it will freeze. My game has frozen on single player and every type of game from day one. Supposedly there is code coming for my situation but there hasn’t been a single code update to address this known issue in the year plus I’ve been an owner.
What’s causing your hang up?
